Azealia Banks Slams “Dusty Ass” Female Rappers For Supporting Nicki Minaj; Gives Props To Cardi B

Rapper Azealia Banks took time out from shopping at a Home Depot to address the recent social media fight between Cardi B, JT, and Akbar V.

You’ve had to be under a rock to have not at least heard of the nasty back and forth that the ladies in rap music have been engaging. Most of the mudslinging has happened on Twitter, where one might say the girls are virtually vaseline-ing up their faces and digitally discarding their earrings.

In a video from her Instagram Live, Azealia Banks called the young ladies in the mainstream “chickenhead a## f##king b##ches” for joining Nicki Minaj’s crusade against Cardi B.

Banks said, “The fact that this b##ch that would not give a f##k about you on any other f##king day … never collab with you … never share her platform with you … is making all you other b##ches risk your own f##king platform … your own f##king s### … to do her dirty work … that this p##sy a## b##ch is too f##king scared to do … all of you b##ches look stupid.”

Azealia Banks called them some “Doja a## b##ches” for jumping on Nicki’s bandwagon. And Azealia reminded the other artists that she was more than just a female rapper.

The Harlem native shared that she was a “talented musician” and she “would never mention” any of them to give them shine.

One of her pet peeves is that the girls coming at Cardi, in her opinion, were once “in Cardi’s face” but have jumped ship to be down with Nicki Minaj.

For her part, she believes she and Cardi have twin spirits— despite having beef in the past— and noted that Cardi is like so many girls that she grew up with in Washington Heights, a neighborhood a hop skip and a jump from the Bronx where the “W.A.P.” rapper is originally from.

In her extremely linear rant, Azealia clearly articulated why she thinks the pile-on approach of getting at the Bronx bombshell is corny. She addressed what she thinks is the underlined reason for the hate.

“The fact that all of y’all girls is letting y’all Spanish girl jealousy fly right now is so f##king dusty,” she said in disgust.

Azealia Banks ended her now virtual rant with a message for Cardi, telling her to “stop taking the bait,” reminding Cardi who she is.

“You did s### that f##king n##### in the game can’t even do. Like you got a diamond single. You got a Grammy,” she fumed. “This b##ch has been in the game, how many f##king years, and she had to share her first Grammy. That’s why she is f##king mad.”

“She’s mad ’cause she lost. Let her take that L,” Azealia’s IG live concluded.

Kanye West Expands His “War” To Khloé Kardashian; Claims Children Were Kidnapped

Kanye West squabbled with Khloé Kardashian after she defended her sister Kim Kardashian on Wednesday (October 5).

The dispute began when Kanye West scolded Gigi Hadid in wake of his “White Lives Matter” shirt controversy. ‘Ye complained about the model not supporting him when he accused the Kardashian family of keeping him away from his daughter on her birthday.

Khloé Kardashian responded to Kanye West’s latest rant in a comment on Instagram. She begged him to stop airing out Kim Kardashian and the rest of her family on social media.

“Ye, I love you,” she wrote. “I don’t want to do this on social media but YOU keep bringing it here. You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect.”

She continued, “Again with the birthday narrative. Enough already. We all know the truth and in my opinion, everyone’s tired of it. You know exactly where your children are at all times and YOU wanted separate birthdays. I have seen all of the texts to prove it. And when you changed your mind and wanted to attend, you came.”

Khloé Kardashian concluded her plea with an offer to talk to Kanye West in private.

“Like you have pointed out yourself, [Kim Kardashian] is the one taking care of your kids 80% of the time,” she wrote. “Please Leave her and the family out of it so that the kids can be raised peacefully. I come from a place of love and I am happy to continue this conversation privately if you wish.”

Kanye West fired back by calling the Kardashians liars. He kept complaining about his daughter’s birthday and brought up a similar grievance involving his youngest son.

“YOU ARE LYING AND ARE LIARS YALL BASICALLY KIDNAPPED CHICAGO ON HER BIRTHDAY SO SHE COULD REMEMBER HER FATHER NOT BEING THERE,” he wrote. “TRAV GAVE ME THE ADDRESS OF MY CHILDS PARTY THATS HOW YALL PLAY WITH BLACK FATHERS.”

Kanye West added, “YALL ALSO THREW A PARTY BEFORE PSALMS BIRTHDAY WHEN I WAS FLYING BACK FROM JAPAN TO BE THERE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND THE FIRST I HEARD ABOUT IT WAS SEEING PICS OF THE PARTY ON LINE ALSO I SHOULD SEE MY CHILDREN 100 % OF THE TIME BUT SINCE THERE’S A SEPARATION IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 50% OF THE TIME YA’LL WOULDN’T HAVE PLAYED WITH DONDA LIKE THAT IN JESUS NAME.”

Kim Kardashian filed to divorce Kanye West in 2021. The former couple shares four children.

High School Football Team Hosts Slave Auction,” Cancels Season

It is universally accepted that kids do some stupid stuff. But what does it take to be so dumb that a bunch of dudes get together and decide to host a slave auction among some football players. This is “dumb jock” redefined.

So, folks, this is how it went down, if you have not already seen in other publications.

Cali’s River Valley High School football team staged a mock slave auction with three black students that said there I their undies and let it happen. They are calling it a “stunt” and a “prank, but I beg to differ.. All of this went down in a locker room, but somebody decided to tape it and release it.

The video has their faces blurred out, but the Black football players are standing with there twiddling their hands as people point at them, in an apparent effort to buy them.

Yuba City Unified School District Superintendent Doreen Osumni said this was highly offensive in a statement to CNN. DUH.

“Re-enacting a slave sale as a prank tells us that we have a great deal of work to do with our students so they can distinguish between intent and impact. They may have thought this skit was funny, but it is not; it is unacceptable and requires us to look honestly and deeply at issues of systemic racism. The recording clearly demonstrates that this situation was orchestrated and organized, which underscores my concern that students spent time contemplating this terrible act without the slightest regard that this action is hateful and hurtful.”

The football players that started the prank were suspended. They need to suspend the Black ones too, for being so damn dumb. Go read a book, you weirdoes.

This is definitely a “Sign The World Is Coming To An End.”

I want to talk to the parents! The kids! This is insane. What do you think?

Trae Tha Truth And His Relief Gang Saved Over 300 People After Hurricane Ian Ripped Through Florida

Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth is more than just a Hip-Hop pioneer, but he is also a superhero.

At least that is what some people on the coast of Florida believe after he came to the state and spent five days as a rescue and recovery team member.

According to KHOU 11, the artist came to help people impacted by Hurricane Ian.

Trae Tha Truth shared talked about his effort, saying, “I think combined, they said with all of us, we’ve done over 300 rescues.”

He calls his crew the Relief Gang, and they started during Hurricane Harvey.

On Monday, October 3rd, he returned to Houston to refuel after helping to secure lives.

“We rescued newborns to the elderly, to disabled to everything. It’s been a hectic weekend,” Trae tha Truth explained. “It’s definitely different to see big yachts turned upside down like they’re toy boats. I’ll have to say it’ll be a long time before they get back to normal.

“It’s hurricane season. What do we expect people to do when it comes our way? We’re going to expect help, or we’re going to need help,” Trae said.

Diddy Says “Fake Pastor” Mase Owes Him $3 Million

For years the world has heard Pastor Mase talk about how he was done dirty by Diddy aka Brother Love.

Now Puff is sharing his side of the story, and it seems like someone hasn’t been telling the “God’s honest truth.”

On the Breakfast Club, the Bad Boy executive talked about the reputation some artists have floated about him when he believes he gave them “opportunity” and helped them make “more money” they were making before.

Diddy said, “This vibe that they got on me … like I’m ‘Big Red’ [a character from ‘The Five Heartbeats’ or something [is crazy] … I came here, and I opened up the doors.”

Charlamagne asked, “So, you don’t steal from artists is what you are saying?”

“Never,” he continued.

“Mr. Won’t Stop, Can’t Stop,” said the reason there is a narrative that he steals from artists really boils down to the artists he has worked with having the “tap out” button.

“When you get to a certain point, and the money is running low, you have to run this hustle to try and find somebody to blame,” he explained.

He added, “I have all my receipts. We are going to do a special, a retrospective, with all the artists, and we are going to get this narrative cleared.”

He then turned his attention to Mase, addressing the rumors around him exploiting the Harlem native.

“I did one album with Mase. How much money do you think I owe this guy? One album? And then he became a fake pastor and conned people?” Diddy remarked. “Then y’all gonna let him throw dirt on the god’s name?”

He challenged all those who were signed to him and believed they were done wrong to step up and bring their receipts.

Diddy, who started out the mud throwing parties back in the 80s, said he is “back outside” and going to do some fighting for his people and himself.

Charlamagne asked Diddy, “How much money would someone like a Mase owe you?”

And without hesitation, Puffy said, “Mase owes me $3 million. That’s facts. I got the receipts.” He said if someone had receipts proving he owes them, he would pay them “within 24 hours.”

Envy chimed in to get confirmation: “Second album. You gave him money to do a second album, and he didn’t deliver.”

Diddy said he was “not going to go back and forth with Mase.”

Diddy said even popular rap group, The Lox, will help him clear up his name.

This is not the first time someone has questioned Mase’s integrity as a businessman this year.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Fivio Foreign said Mase tried to gank him early in his career. Mase vehemently denied that was the case.

Jason Lee Terminates Work Relationship With Kanye West; Disappointed In Rapper Over “White Lives Matter” Controversy

Media personailty Jason Lee quits working with troubled rapper Kanye West a few weeks before the designer was photographed with Candace Owens wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt.

According to Page Six, the “Hollywood Unlocked” influencer decided to leave his post as the head of media and partnerships for West, not explicitly because of his erratic behavior, trouble with big brands like GAP and Adidas, nor because of his manic position on race.

He left to start another talk show.

He made the announcement amid all of the conversations about his former boss’ WLM shirt decision.

On his Instagram Story, he wrote, “Very humble and thankful to Ye for the opportunity to work with him, but that part of our relationship has come to an end.”

He spoke about his feelings on why West chose to wear the shirt, saying the artist is “gaslighting” people.

I love Ye as a person, and I support free speech. But this is gaslighting black people and empowering white supremacy. Not sure if he has any friends left to tell him but this is utterly disappointing,” Lee stated.

Adding, “I’m going to exercise free speech and say, nobody Black has ever said that white lives don’t matter. But when Black people do this it just screams the need for white validation.”

“Not to mention, adding Candace Owens to this photo is beyond reprehensible,” he wrote. “I understand he believes in her right to free speech, but her speech is typically embedded in self hate, a determination to promote white supremacy, and she lacks integrity.”

Lee, a proficient media person, stated, “This is sad.” Jason Lee was named Head of Media and Partnerships for Kanye in March of 2022.

Kanye West continued to stand on his position and said on his Story, “Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam now it’s over you’re welcome.”

Cardi B Gets Tasha K’s Bank Info And Wants To Seize The $1,083.02 In The Account

Rapper Cardi B is dead set on making sure blogger Tasha K pays her every bit of the money she owes her after losing the multi-million-dollar defamation case.

While the popular YouTuber has gone on record saying she is not going to pay the Bronx Bomber her money, Cardi’s clear she is not letting anything slide.

According to Radar, JP Morgan Chase Bank contacted Cardi to tell her that Tasha and her company, Kebe Studios had a paltry $1,083.02 in their bank accounts.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Cardi B sued the vlogger after she made allegations on her podcast/ YouTube show that the “W.A.P.” singer had Herpes, used to be a prostitute or an escort, and did hard drugs.

The Grammy-winning artist said the allegations caused her emotional distress and even caused problems in her marriage to rapper Offset. As a result, Cardi says she had to go to a therapist.

Cardi B won the case. A jury awarded the Bronx rapper $1 million in general damages and $250k in medical expenses for a total of $1.25 million and $1.5 million in punitive damages and another $1.3 million for her attorney fees.

Now, Cardi wants her cash and has asked JP Morgan Chase to fork over funds to pay her debt. Tasha K. is fighting the judgment, and the case is currently winding through a court of appeals.

Drake’s ‘Take Care’ Joins The Billboard 200 Chart’s 500-Week Club

Drake has the third-longest charting Hip Hop album in Billboard 200 history. 2011’s Take Care takes the #67 spot on this week’s Billboard 200, giving the project its 500th week on the chart.

Take Care joins Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits (599 weeks) and Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (518 weeks) in Billboard‘s 500-week club. Only 16 albums have charted for that amount of time.

Upon its release in November 2011, Take Care opened at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 631,000 first-week copies sold. The studio LP garnered critical acclaim and won Best Rap Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

Take Care features appearances by The Weeknd, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and André 3000. The OVO rapper’s sophomore effort hosts the Top 40 hits “Marvins Room,” “Headlines,” “Make Me Proud,” “The Motto,” and “Take Care.”

Drake’s most recent LP, Honestly, Nevermind, dropped in June of this year. Honestly, Nevermind debuted at #1 with 204,000 album-equivalent units. After 15 weeks, the project remains on the Billboard 200 at #29.

Drake’s discography also includes 2013’s Nothing Was The Same which has spent 441 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. 2016’s Views album currently sits at 333 weeks. 2017’s More Life managed to remain on the chart for 275 weeks.

In addition to Drake, several other Hip Hop artists reached impressive Billboard 200 milestones in recent months. J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive crossed the 400-week mark in early August.

Later that same month, Tyler, The Creator’s Igor surpassed 150 weeks on the Billboard 200. Post Malone saw his Stoney spend its 300th week on the album sales rankings in September.

Back in February, R&B/Pop megastar Rihanna made it into Billboard‘s 300-week club. Her chart-topping Anti album from 2016 is closing in on 350 weeks. Anti presently maintains a 335-week run on the album chart.

Lauryn Hill’s Daughter Selah Marley Responds To Backlash Over Wearing Ye’s “White Lives Matter” Shirt

Kanye “Ye” West was not the only person to catch heat for his “White Lives Matter” shirt. Selah Marley, the daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, also faced significant online backlash.

Many social media users slammed Selah Marley for taking part in Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 9 fashion show. The Paris-set event featured models, such as Selah, wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts.

On Tuesday, Selah Marley addressed the controversy on her Instagram Story. The 23-year-old granddaughter of Reggae legend Bob Marley stated she would not allow people on the internet to bully her.

“The past 24 hours has allowed me to realize that most of yall are stuck in a hive mentality,” posted Selah Marley. “You do what the group tells you to do and think what the group tells you to think. Witnessing someone break free from ‘the agenda’ sends you all into such a panic that you will do whatever it takes to force them back into the box that you feel they should exist in.”

She continued, “You cannot bully me, manipulate me, or coax me into silence. Nor will you bully me into being who I don’t want to be. I don’t care how many tweets you make, DMs you send, or articles you write.”

Selah Marley concluded her IG statement by writing, “Throughout all the chaos, I have yet to speak on my experience. If you know me, you know that nothing I do is without deep thought and intention. Wait til you hear what I have to say.”

In addition, Selah Marley shared a text she apparently sent to Kanye West. The message included Selah seemingly asking Ye to help her to continue the conversation about the “White Lives Matter” apparel in order to show the “depth” and “purity” of the decision.

The negative reactions to Kanye West’s “White Lives Matter” shirts mostly stem from the belief that the phrase is a reactionary talking point used by white supremacists, white nationalists, and the Alt-Right. West also upset some people by downplaying the Black Lives Matter movement in response to the critiques.

Watch Future’s Vevo Live Performance Of “Back To The Basics”

Vevo has released Future’s “Official Live Performance” of “Back To The Basics” from the rapper’s chart-topping I Never Liked You album.

Previously, Future worked with Vevo for the “Official Live Performance” of “Call The Coroner” and “Promise U That” in 2019. The Atlanta-based rapper also took part in the 2022 Vevo Footnotes for “Wait for U” featuring Drake and Tems.

Vevo’s “Official Live Performance” series has also included videos by Doja Cat, Justin Beiber, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, and Demi Lovato.

“We’ve been looking forward to collaborating with Future again since we last worked together back in 2019,” says JP Evangelista, Vevo’s SVP of Content, Programming & Marketing. “He’s an icon in every sense of the word, from his fashion to his visuals to his lyrics, and we were so thrilled to have the opportunity to harness that energy into these incredible performances.”

JP Evangelista continues, “It’s important for an artist to be fully present and involved with our Official Live Performances, and Future was incredibly intentional, prepared with a clear creative vision that he came ready to translate onto the screen for his fans. We’re so excited to finally be able to share these with everyone!”

I Never Liked You dropped on April 29. Future’s ninth studio LP debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart by collecting 222,000 first-week units. The standard version of the project features Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, Drake, Tems, EST Gee, and Kodak Black.

Unarmed U.K. Rapper Chris Kaba Was Not A Suspect When Fatally Shot By Cops

U.K. rapper Chris Kaba was not a suspect nor was he being chased by cops, but was being followed by an unmarked police car without lights and sirens when he was fatally shot by a police officer, an inquest into his death has been told.

The unarmed father-to-be was killed on September 5 by a single shot to the head. An unidentified firearms officer, referred to in the investigation as officer NX121, fired the round. Chris Kaba was 24 years old.

Despite London’s Metropolitan Police initially reporting that Kaba was shot “after a vehicle pursuit,” the police watchdog made no mention of this in their statement to Southwark coroner’s court on Tuesday (Oct. 4).

Police Watchdog Speak At Inquest Into The Death of Chris Kaba

The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating the shooting of Kaba, a member of U.K. drill rap group 67. Their lead investigator, Dean Brown, read a summary of the incident at the inquest.

He confirmed Chris Kaba was not a suspect when cops followed him without deploying lights or sirens. While officers had been briefed earlier that night to look out for the Audi, potentially associated with a firearm incident from the previous day, “Mr Kaba’s name was not included in this briefing.”

After being followed for approximately 15 minutes, cops decided to” perform an inline extraction.” Then, armed police exited their vehicles and approached the Audi driven by Chris Kaba.

“The evidence suggests that contact was made between the Audi driven by Mr. Kaba and the police vehicles.

“The evidence further suggests that officer NX121 was standing to the front of Mr Kaba’s vehicle. A single shot was fired by officer NX121 piercing the front windscreen of the vehicle Mr Kaba was driving.”

Cops at the scene provided first aid, but Chris Kaba sadly died later that night in hospital.

The IOPC confirmed officer NX121 has been suspended from duty and is under criminal investigation for murder. No one has been charged with homicide at this time. The “extensive and ongoing” investigation is expected to take six to nine months to complete.

Stormzy Joins Protests

Protests erupted all over the U.K., with citizens taking to the streets to peacefully demand justice for the family of Chris Kaba. Fellow rapper Stormzy was among the protestors marching last month.

Kaba’s cousin Jefferson Bosela spoke outside the inquest on Tuesday. “Officers must be interviewed under caution immediately. We have been told that after nearly a month, neither the officer who killed Chris or any of the other officers involved have been interviewed under caution.”

He also called on the Crown Prosecution Service to urgently make a charging decision. Bosela said a swift decision is “critical for this family,” and others “to have faith in the system that is supposed to bring them justice.”

Bosela added: “We need answers. Not just this family, but the whole of London – the whole of the country – needs to know how something like this could occur? How can a young man, sitting in a car, unarmed, be shot in the head by police in London in 2022? This should never have happened. It must never happen again. We must never accept this as normal. Someone must be held accountable.”

He concluded: “We will not rest until the people responsible for Chris’s death are held fully accountable.” Watch his remarks in full below.

AllHipHop.com stands with the family of Chris Kaba as they seek justice for their loved one, and against any senseless police-involved violence, specifically against Black and Brown people.

Hitman Holla Battle Rap Reality TV Show Begins Filming: “A War Every Night”

Hitman Holla says things are heating up in the Bag$ And Bodies mansion, the home of the Wild N’ Out star’s battle rap reality TV show.

Earlier this year, the St Louis artist announced plans for the $100,00 competition and has now selected the rappers who will battle for the prize. Half of the contestants were chosen from auditions across four cities last month. The remaining hopefuls faced off last week for the final slots. Those battles will drop on YouTube as promo for the first season.

The battlers have entered the house, where they will compete in a series of challenges over the next six weeks. If the first two days are anything to go by, the show will make for compelling viewing.

Hitman Holla shared a clip from the Bag$ And Bodies mansion showing an altercation between two of the battlers. Harlem’s Snake Eyez and North Carolina’s Bad Newz almost came to blows, and things got tense.

“They tryna separate the boys from the men in the house,” Hitman tweeted. “It’s a war every night #BagsAndBodies!!!”

https://twitter.com/HitmanHolla/status/1576774595763662848?s=20&t=xBAzFGV8nLpPHF2IJfLNPw

Despite having to keep on his toes, Hitman Holla says the show is already promising to be classic television. “They driving me crazy already lol,” he tweeted. “This tv show is GOLD.”

Bag$ And Bodies began taping this weekend and will be available on Hulu, Roku, and Apple TV once the TV deal is finalized.

Some contestants have been posting behind-the-scenes videos from the Bag$ And Bodies mansion. Viewers can expect smoky altercations, laughs, and tense moments in between the battles when the emcees will showcase their writing skills and rapping ability. Check the clips below.

Rihanna Finally Breaks Silence On Super Bowl Halftime Show: “I’m Nervous”

Rihanna has finally spoken about her upcoming highly-anticipated performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show next year, revealing she has a case of the butterflies.

Fans of the Bajan songstress rejoiced last month when The National Football League announced the news. Rihanna has remained tight-lipped about the show, giving very little away.

However, TMZ caught up with her while grocery shopping in L.A. on Monday. When asked how she’s feeling about the event, Rihanna admitted she’s “nervous” but “excited” to perform. Check out her comments below.

Rihanna has something in common with Dr. Dre, who was extremely anxious when he rocked the stage at the 2022 Halftime show. He admitted, “I don’t know if I’ve ever been that nervous before,” performing at the event alongside Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.

Dr. Dre is expecting an epic performance from Rihanna. “She has the opportunity to really blow us away,” he explained. “I know we set the bar extremely high.” He also shared that the nine-time Grammy Award winner should ensure she has “the right creative people,” around her in preparation for the show. Ultimately, he said, “have fun.”

After the announcement last week, longtime mentor Jay-Z expressed his pride in Rihanna’s growth.

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” said Jay Z in a press statement.

While Rihanna hasn’t spoken about the other performers who will join her for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, fans believe her “Run This Town” collaborator Kanye West dropped a hint that he might be one. Ye took to Instagram to share a Daily Mail article suggesting he is being considered as a guest performer.

N.O.R.E. Says “Pun Told Me To Come” During Moving BET Hip Hop Awards Acceptance Speech

N.O.R.E. ended his self-imposed awards show ban to attend the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards where he was named the co-winner of the Best Hip Hop Platform award for his Drink Champs series.

The NYC-raised rapper revealed he was inspired to attend after he received a message from the late Big Pun.

While his Drink Champs co-host DJ EFN kept his comments brief, shouting out his family and thanking their production crew, N.O.R.E. didn’t hold back. “I’m a little more cocky with mine,” he began as the audience cheered him on.

He then explained that he hasn’t attended any awards shows since Big Pun died in February 2000. “Me and Pun sat at these seats over there somewhere,” N.O.R.E. explained, pointing into the auditorium, “and Silkk the Shocker beat us in every category there was.”

After that, the rapper turned podcaster decided that would be his last ever awards ceremony. “I promised to never come to another awards show again because I didn’t want to be embarrassed.” He added, “Because hood n##### get embarrassed too, y’all.”

However, N.O.R.E. says he came tonight because Big Pun told him to come to represent for kids who also struggled with their schooling. “Pun told me to come. He said Fat Joe was hosting, he said Mobb Deep is gonna be there.

N.O.R.E. continued, “He said, ‘You got to come tonight with your wife, your beautiful wife, and accept this award on every hood n#### that cut school and was in the resource room.” He continued noting, ”I was in special education,” and “I’m not sure if I know how to read. But I’m here.” Watch his speech in full below.

Joey Bada$$ Memorializes PnB Rock, Young Dolph & Other Late Rappers At BET Hip-Hop Awards

Joey Bada$$ delivered a powerful performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2022, paying tribute to fallen rappers that lost their lives to violence.

The Brooklyn rapper took to the stage on Tuesday evening (Oct. 4) with a special rendition of his recent single “Head High.” The tributes included Young Dolph, who was shot and killed last year and PnB Rock, who was also fatally shot last month.

He also memorialized fallen rappers from different generations of rap, including XXXTentacion, King Von, Nipsey Hussle, Scott La Rock, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G, and Big L.

As the song wound down, Joey Bada$$ sent a message to his fellow artists.

“As rappers we got to stop perpetuating our own genocide. It’s a war going on inside and outside no man is safe from. How y’all rappers call y’allselves real, turn round and tell these kids to kill each other? You see the problem is, we y’all biggest ops. I’m done pointing fingers at the judges and the cops. It’s time to take accountability,” he concluded.

Joey Bada$$ performed flanked by dancers clad in all black with matching ski masks wearing hoodies with each deceased artist’s name on the back. Watch his performance below.

The poignant lyrics on “Head High” include the rapper talking about “livin’ in the moment,” because “you never know when could be your last.” Joey Bada$$ also raps about the “survivor’s guilt” he suffers over losing his friend and fellow artist Capital STEEZ.

Kodak Black also took to the stage at the ceremony with his own tribute to his friend and former collaborator, the late PnB Rock. An image of PnB lit up the stage as Kodak performed “Super Gremlin.”

Dante Tweaks Releases Highly Anticipated Single, “MADOFF”

The city of New York is known for its diversity in the music culture, being the cradle of some of the global music icons. Conversely, Connecticut has always been an underdog in the music industry. CT is a place for live music and presents the world with some of the best venues for music concerts and clubs. Choosing between these two musical realms can be challenging for a true music enthusiast. Dante Tweaks, the popular rapper and music producer, says, why to choose when you can have the best of both worlds? He returns after a hiatus to reclaim his position in the industry with his upcoming project, MADOFF, which blends the musical culture of NYC with the vibe of CT to enthrall the audience.

Dante Tweaks, the artist and rapper, shot to fame with his song “Plug Ran Dry,” featured on BET Jams network and earned immense popularity among audiences for its unique rhythm. “Plug Ran Dry ” was also ranked 69 on UK iTunes Music Charts, paving the way for Dante Tweaks into the closely-knit industry. After this hit, Dante’s career scaled up, and in 2018 he launched one of the best music studios in CT. However, after Dante’s fame and success, he went on a sudden hiatus from the industry for a year. The artist overcame his mental health issues and depression during this time.

Now, Dante is back and fiercer with his music. His upcoming song, MADOFF, proves that the rapper is geared to redefine the music scene. MADOFF is a single, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Dante Tweaks and his team at Howell Records Studios. This song will showcase the multi-faceted skills of the artist as a rapper, producer, composer, and editor. The main attraction of the video is the cameo of the famous social media influencers and music artist SPIDERCUZ with a large music fan base.

MADOFF narrates the story of a Bad boy from a new perspective, one that promises to capture Dante’s very audience listeners will feel connected to the very end. The artist has worked tirelessly to see this project succeed. In the spirit of excellence, he had various shoots across exclusive locales across New York. He believes this move will truly add a visually aesthetic element to the song. Dante as an artist has a keen eye for attention to detail and will never settle for anything less than what he wants. Considering this, the video will be a treat for the sore eyes that will perfectly complement the mood and theme of the song.

Besides the visual and the concept, Dante’s MADOFF will be a melodic masterpiece. The song, as Dante describes, will stand out “with its trippy, almost skit-like effects with a background music that bumps hard.” Going by his words, MADOFF will be a fresh wave of energetic rhythm and electrifying beats that spurs people to groove any time of the day.

MADOFF is set for release on October 11 this year. Dante, a perfectionist, is putting some final touches as he is highly optimistic about this come-back project. He feels MADOFF will set a different standard for him as an artist, not only replicating but surpassing the success of all his previous releases.
