Will Smith’s infamous Oscars slap strengthened his bond with Jada Pinkett Smith after years of separation. Jada Pinkett Smith discussed how the 2022 incident changed their relationship on the November 14 episode of CBS Mornings.

“What I will say is that being there with him that night, what I did know was that I might not have walked in there as his wife, but I left that night as his wife,” she told host Nate Burleson. “And as I sit here today, I am going to be by his side always.”

Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith at the 94th Academy Awards. At the time, the public did not not the couple was separated. Will Smith referred to Jada Pinkett Smith as his wife after slapping Rock. She said his comment “shocked” her because they had not called each other husband and wife in “a long time.”

Last month, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed she has been separated from Will Smith since 2016. The couple never filed for divorce but lived “completely separate lives.” Jada Pinkett Smith told CBS Mornings the separation worked for her.

“I would say that that separation did work,” she said. “Because I really feel like for myself, I needed time for emotional maturity. Really looking at—first of all, I was in a deep healing process and I really needed to dissolve some false ideas of what marriage is. False ideas of what I thought Will needed to be for me, versus what I needed to learn to be for myself, in order to have a loving relationship. So, I had to really do some deep healing.”

Jada Pinkett Smith wrote about her marriage in her memoir Worthy, which dropped in October. The book debuted at No. 3 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

YNW Melly Learns New Start Date For Retrial As Judge Grants Delay

A Florida judge pushed back the start date of YNW Melly’s murder retrial. According to Law & Crime’s Cathy Russon, Judge John Murphy rescheduled the trial to February 5, 2024.

The retrial was supposed to begin on January 8, 2024. Prosecutors asked for a delay to handle various motions and depositions ahead of the trial.

Judge Murphy granted the request despite YNW Melly’s right to a speedy trial. The judge cited “extraordinary circumstances” warranting a delay, per Bryson Paul.

YNW Melly’s mother Jamie King reacted to the judge’s ruling on Monday (November 13). She lamented the latest delay in her son’s case.

“Lawsuits, lies, delayed trials, overdue bill, seeing death everyday at work but have no choice but to work,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “Broken heart, sadness, stress, tears, fears, 5 years.”

Prosecutors accuse YNW Melly of killing YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser in 2018. The rapper was previously tried for the murders this past summer, but the trial ended with a hung jury. He has remained in jail since his 2019 arrest.

Jury selection for YNW Melly’s retrial began in October. Last week, the process was disrupted when the defense made a misstatement while speaking to prospective jurors.

The defense asked Judge Murphy to strike the entire panel of jurors due to the error. The judge approved the motion. Jury selection is scheduled to resume in December.

A$AP Rocky Delivers Puma F1 Collection Ahead Of Las Vegas Grand Prix

A$AP Rocky is set to deliver his debut F1 collection with Puma just in time for the groundbreaking Formula One Grand Prix race taking place in Las Vegas.

On Monday (November 13) first-look images were released of the collection Rocky designed as creative director for Puma-F1, which was announced by the brand last month. Though Rocky had previously shared images teasing the collection, the latest round of flicks showcases the quality and personality of each piece.

The collection includes a long-sleeve graphic tee littered with vintage car decals, apron shorts that feature a removable pouch that took inspiration from pit crew workers’ uniforms, and denim pants with knee pad accents and adjustable cinches. There also appear to be other items part of the collection including shoes and apparel accessories such as gloves, hats and helmets.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is one of a series of planned events that are part of the 2023 Formula One World Championship. The event taking place on November 18 serves as the climax to a $500 million transformation of the Las Vegas strip, which has been converted into a temporary street circuit for the race.

Rocky is also set to host an exclusive pop-up event in Las Vegas during the race where fans and F1 enthusiasts can purchase the items apart of the collection.

André 3000’s First Song On New Jazz LP Is “I Swear, I Really Wanted To Make A Rap Album But…”

André 3000 announced his triumphant return on Tuesday (November 14), telling NPR his debut solo album, New Blue Sun, will arrive this week. But it’s not exactly what longtime Outkast fans were expecting. Instead of a proper Hip-Hop album, it’s 87 minutes of experimental jazz primarily composed using his instrument of choice, the flute.

But the tracklist is even more mind-blowing. In a post making the rounds on Reddit, the titles of eight tracks are displayed in all their glory. The first one, however, is perhaps the most telling: “I Swear, I Really Wanted To Make A ‘Rap’ Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time.”

If that sounds like a Lana Del Rey album title, that’s just the beginning—it only gets more elaborate from there. Other titles include: “The Slang Word P (*)ssy Rolls Off The Tongue With Far Better Ease Than The Proper Word V#####. Do You Agree?” and “Dreams Once Buried Beneath The Dungeon Floor Slowly Sprout Into Undying Gardens.”

As for the intro to the album, André 3000 explained why he opted to release a bar-less album, saying, “There’s this misconception that I just won’t do it. I think people feel like I’m sitting around on rap albums, or sitting around and I’m just not putting them out in that way. And no it’s not like that… In my mind, I really would like to make a rap album. So maybe that happens one day, but I got to find a way to say what I want to say in an interesting way that’s appealing to me at this age.”

Longtime collaborator Killer Mike let the cat out of the bag in June during an interview with Sway Callaway.

Callaway said, “What I’m hearing is Dre got an album coming,” to which Killer Mike replied, “Yeah, I think we fly out in a couple weeks to go listen to it.” Calloway replied, “Wow, that’s amazing. André 3000 got an album coming.” When someone mentioned he thought they were joking, Calloway said, “Nah, he said he played him nine tracks of stuff he already he had. That mean Dre sitting on volumes of songs.”

As Outkast fans celebrated, Killer Mike soon clarified his comments, telling Atlanta’s V-103, “I was stoned out of my mind playing, teasing with y’all. Y’all done took the joke too seriously. But you know, [Andre 3000’s] always making music. He’s never not making music. So I got a chance to hear a lot of cool stuff… If you want to hear Dre though, I know where you can. It’s this album called Michael that’s out right now. There is Dre, Future, and Killer Mike.”

Michael did deliver some André 3000 bars in the form of “Scientists & Engineers” featuring Future and Eryn Allen Kane. Killer Mike was recently nominated for three Grammy Awards: Best Rap Album for Michael, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for—yep!— “Scientists & Engineers.”

Many rappers are not shy about showing off their jewelry and watches, whether in music videos, at awards ceremonies, or at social events.

So, let’s take a look at six of the most iconic timepieces in the rap scene.

1. Rolex’s Presidential Day-Date 36 Watch

Rappers are well-known for their love of bling, which is why so many luxury timepieces are associated with the rap scene.

One watch brand that has remained at the top of the game since it started production way back in 1905 is Rolex. So, it should not be surprising that many iconic rappers enjoy showcasing their Rolexes.

Arguably, the most iconic Rolex associated with the rap scene is Tupac Shakur’s Rolex Presidential Day-Date 36. It was featured in his video for the track “To Live and Die in L.A.”

2. Richard Mille’s RM-031 Watch

Rapper and producer Pharrell Williams is one of the most influential and successful names of modern times in the rap scene, so it makes sense that he likes to own and show off luxurious jewelry and timepieces.

If there is one watch that everyone remembers Pharrell wearing, it is the futuristic-looking RM-031 by the Swiss watchmaking brand Richard Mille, which he wore at the Golden Globes in 2017.

The watch features complex tourbillon movement and aesthetic steel accents. It is highly desirable.

3. Jacob & Co.’s Five Time Zone Watch

If there is one luxury watchmaker that has continued to captivate rap and hip-hop artists over the last few decades, it is Jacob & Co.

For instance, the company made a unique timepiece for the Canadian rapper Drake. The watch, which had a $620,000 price tag, contained a miniature roulette wheel in the center.

But its most iconic watch favored by rap artists is the Five Time Zone watch, which was created in 2022. The watch face is divided into quadrants that display the times in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Paris.

Jay-Z and other notable rappers, such as ASAP Ferg and ASAP Rocky from A$AP Mob have sported the luxurious Five Time Zone watches.

Though, no rappers have yet purchased jacob & co. ‘s masterpiece that was unveiled in March 2023. The Billionaire Timeless Treasure is worth a staggering $20 million – due to its casing of yellow diamonds.

4. Cartier’s Crash Watch

The Cartier Crash watch is without a doubt one of the most iconic timepiece designs of all time.

If you know the Salvador Dali painting The Persistence of Memory, which depicts melting clock faces, you will be able to imagine what the Crash watch looks like. Though, interestingly, its melted appearance was apparently not inspired by the Surrealist painter.

The Cartier Crash first came onto the scene in the swinging 1960s. Cartier, which was known for its traditional circular and square watches at the time, wanted to make something strikingly different that fitted in with the counterculture of the period.

Due to its revolutionary design, the Cartier Crash has remained one of the most sought-after watches around. Several rich and famous rappers, including Tyler the Creator, Jay-Z, and Kanye West own this iconic timepiece.

Well, you have to be rich to get one of these iconic watches! In 2022, one of the originally-released Crash watches sold for an incredible $1.65 million.

5. Hublot’s Big Bang Watch

In 2005, the modern watchmaker Hublot released the Big Bang watch. With exposed screws, a round bezel, a chunky face, and a rubber strap, the luxurious watch soon made big waves, including in the rap scene.

Most notably, Beyoncé gave Jay-Z a Big Bang watch in 2012 that was crafted with 18k white gold and contained 1,282 diamonds. The cost? A staggering $5 million.

6. Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Reference 5711

Patek Philippe’s Nautilus watches are undoubtedly some of the most popular choices among rap and hip-hop artists today.

In fact, it has been noted that two-thirds of the songs on the 2017 Billboard Hot 100 referenced Patek Philippe watches. And notable rappers like Lil Uzi Vert and Drake own Nautilus timepieces.

If there is one watch from the range that stands out above all others, it is the Reference 5711, which was launched in 2006.

While it is not actually the most expensive or complex of the watches made by Patek Philippe, it is undoubtedly the most sought-after. And high-profile rappers like Offset have been sporting the Reference 5711.

One day, maybe the Nautilus Reference 5711 will be worth as much as Patek Philippe’s rarest watches, such as the Grandmaster Chime, which was last sold for a whopping $31 million.

Lil Wop Proudly Declares He’s A “Gay” Dad Who’s Raising A Son

Lil Wop has been open about his sexual preferences. This week, the former 1017 Records artist commented on being a homosexual man and father.

Lil Wop came out as bisexual in 2022. Earlier this year, Lil Wop went viral after posting a photo of himself in lingerie. He even teased becoming a trans-woman before deciding against the transition.

The conversation about Wop’s gender identity sparked a lot of outrage online at the time. For example, fellow Gucci Mane protégé, Ralo, took issue with the idea of men transitioning into women.

Apparently, Lil Wop has also faced backlash for his LGBTQ lifestyle because he has a child. The Chicago-bred, Atlanta-based adult content star addressed being a dad in an X post.

“I’m gay & I got a son. [Mother###er] that ain’t got s### to do with my shorty, he gone grow up a real stepper like his daddy,” Wop tweeted on November 12. He later added, “I’m gone have more kids too, im have like 20.

Moments earlier, Wop detailed his attraction to certain people. On November 12, he also posted, “I like transgender and femboys, that’s it, keep that other s###, I don’t want it.”

Lil Wop expressed his personal desires for a sexual partner in a 2022 interview, saying, “Don’t get me wrong. I ain’t out here sucking no dick or getting f###ed in the a## or no s### like that, but I’ll make a n#### my b####.

“I’m masculine, so I’m a motherf###ng king. I come from kings, royalty. I like power. I ain’t soft, sweet, or none of that s###. I just wanted to put that out to the world. So everybody’s welcome to come f### with me.”

YG Is Allegedly Out Here Stealing L.A. Area Residents’ Girlfriends

A Compton man alleges that YG just may be the cause of yet another broken home solely based off of his recent Instagram post.

According to the unidentified gentleman, the 4Hunnid Records boss is causing him undue stress after he posted compromising photographs of the mother of his child over the weekend. To be specific, it appears the woman twirling around a stripper pole in the photo YG posted featuring several other women all surrounded by loose dollar bills is the culprit.

To be fair, it seems this situation is no one’s fault—beside the woman who’s photographed in the compromising position, that is. Her partner quickly issued a call-to-action for YG to remove the post from his profile. The woman allegedly told him she was going to take care of some family issues at the time the photo was allegedly taken. At a glance, it’s hard to pinpoint what’s more disturbing about the post and situation as a whole—the fact YG is staring at the woman as if he were mesmerized by a David Blaine magic trick or that the male affected by the post felt the need to issue a public service announcement because he’s unable reconcile with his partner on his own.

No matter the case, I think we can all agree shorty did bro absolutely wrong if she didn’t keep it real with him and he found out via IG. But what do y’all think? Is bro out here looking like a goofy or is this just one of those situations where you charge it to the game?

André 3000 To Release Debut Solo Album “New Blue Sun”—With No Rapping

Fans of Outkast member André 3000 woke up to a big surprise. According to NPR, André 3000’s debut solo studio LP, New Blue Sun, will arrive on Friday (November 17). The outlet reports the upcoming release will be an 87-minute project with no rapping.

Apparently, the Atlanta-bred MC used multiple flutes for his latest body of work. NPR Music’s Rodney Carmichael spoke to the musician/actor about his first album in 17 years.

“I’m a writer, and not necessarily a pen and pad writer, but I construct and architect verses in a way,” André 3000 stated. “That’s what I’ve been doing all my life. So I look at it in that way, and if I’m not satisfied with what it is I just don’t put it out.”

André 3000 Earned Two More Grammy Nominations This Year

As one-half of the groundbreaking southern duo of Outkast with Big Boi, André 3000 helped craft the classic albums Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, ATLiens, Aquemini and Stankonia.

In 2003, Big Boi and André 3000 created the double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Their fifth LP became just the second Hip-Hop album to win the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year. They also put out Idlewild, the final Outkast album, in 2006.

“I really want people to hear it. I really want to share it,” André told Rodney Carmichael about New Blue Sun. “That’s my only gauge. I have to like it as a person, as an artist myself, because if I don’t like it I can’t expect nobody else to like it. I can’t pretend in that way. That’s always been hard for me.”

André 3000 scored two nominations for the upcoming 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024. The 7-time Grammy winner is up for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song as a guest on Killer Mike’s “Scientists & Engineers” along with Future and Eryn Allen Kane.

Will Smith May Have A Real Nightmare On His Hands Soon

You guys are not gonna believe this one. Recently, Jada Pinkett-Smith has written the best-selling book, Worthy, that was presumably a memoir about her life with Will Smith. I don’t know if it was that or if it wasn’t that, but it has dominated headlines. For the record, I believe it was just about her life and she did a lot of interviews that got people excited as it related to her husband. But it was her story.

Anyway, it appears that that book will be the least of Will Smith’s problems. Actually, that was not even a problem because he was in on the gag. He is not in on the gag now. There’s reportedly a tell-all book coming out about Will Smith from a trusted friend. Actually, I have to say former friend. And that former friend is now probably Will Smith’s worst enemy.

According to my sources, this person is about to tell everything. Now, how true is it? That is another topic. I can promise you there are a number of notables that will appear in this book and it will be damning. I won’t say those names, but August Alsina is one of them, and since that was public, I can mention his name.

Jada Pinkett-Smith Teases “Don’t Try This At Home” Book With Will Smith

Some of Will Smith’s most trusted buddies are going to be in this book, according to my source. I don’t know if it will ever see the light of day, because I am convinced Will Smith has ways to make things like this disappear at the same time, I don’t know if this is about money. This is definitely personal.

I will not say who or what because it is eminent. But, I will say this the website was up about a month ago and now it is not up. So, it is possible that the website has already been taken down or that Will Smith has taken some form of legal action against the individual authoring this book. Nevertheless, I think this is the worst thing that could possibly happen to him at this point. He just started a podcast and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s book is a hit. He needs a break like Nell Carter.

Will Smith is definitely one of our cherished Hollywood heroes and he’s also a Hip-Hop icon. As we celebrate 50 years, he just happens to be one of those people we need to protect. He’s being featured in the next celebration by the Recording Academy. That airs on December 10 and I will be right there by my TV watching him do his hits from back in the day.

Kodak Black Files Motion To Get Drug Case Dismissed, Claims Cops Found Tylenol Pills

Florida-bred rhymer Kodak Black has had to deal with multiple court cases in his 26 years of living. For example, Ft. Lauderdale-area law enforcement arrested the “Tunnel Vision” performer in July 2022 for possession of a controlled substance.

Fast forward to November 2023, Kodak Black’s legal team wants a judge to dismiss the case entirely. According to TMZ, attorney Bradford Cohen insists the pills found on his client on the day of the arrest were Tylenol not oxycodone as officers claimed.

The Florida Highway Patrol reportedly pulled Black (legal name: Bill Kapri) over because he was driving an SUV with tinted windows that appeared to be darker than the legal limit. The troopers allegedly smelled marijuana and found a bag with 31 white tablets and nearly $75,000 in cash.

In addition, Bradford Cohen accused the Broward Sheriff’s Office of covering up for a supposedly biased FBI Special Agent. Cohen also maintained that prosecutors attempted to withhold body cam video of an officer surveilling the Painting Pictures album creator.

Kodak Black’s legal issues go back to at least 2015 when authorities charged him with robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a child, and possession of cannabis. In January 2020, then-President Donald Trump commuted the rapper’s three-year federal prison sentence for falsifying documents used to buy weapons.

The Kid LAROI Talks Dealing With Juice WRLD’s Death

Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 21. Prior to his death, the Chicago-raised rapper/singer helped introduce Australian rapper/singer The Kid LAROI to an American audience.

The Kid LAROI released his debut studio album, The First Time, on November 10th of this year. The project features Central Cee, Future, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and more. Plus, The First Time hosts “Where Does Your Spirit Go?” which serves as a tribute to the late Juice WRLD.

Apple Music’s Zane Lowe recently spoke to The Kid LAROI about his latest body of work. Specifically, Zowe asked the 20-year-old recording artist about using “Where Does Your Spirit Go?” to address losing loved ones.

“I wanted to just capture how I was feeling. I mean, obviously, that was the first step. And I think what comes with a lot of death and grief is obviously sadness, but anger as well,” The Kid LAROI stated. “Not only just anger for the events of death, but anger towards yourself and regret of like, damn, I wish I had told this person this, or damn, I wish I did this differently.”

On Juice, he said, “That was big bro, but I was 15 and he was 20. So there is a dynamic of, as a kid, you’re a fan and you’re like, now this guy I guess would be big bro. And now I get to travel everywhere and there’s just that sense of you’re kind of just happy to be there and move in with the flow. And one thing that I always wished I think was that I was like, ‘Damn, I wish there was in another universe.'”

The Kid LAROI also talked about how Juice WRLD helped him deal with fame, drug abuse, depression, and anxiety. LAROI also expressed feeling unable to help his mentor before he lost his life to an oxycodone and codeine overdose.

“I wish I was able to meet him now and we were able to get on a level where I could provide some type of thing for him. And I think I just was never equipped to do that then. And yeah, it wasn’t even an option. no one was looking to me,” LAROI said.

He continued, “My take didn’t matter. Again, that was a funny thing. I was like a 15-year-old kid. I’m an artist and living in bro’s house. I’m just grateful to be here and grateful to be around everything and grateful to be around these people and grateful that my life is changing.”

Jay-Z could be considered the most successful person to ever emerge from Hip-Hop culture. The rapper-turned-businessman built a financial empire reportedly worth $2.5 billion.

Veteran broadcast journalist Gayle King conducted a special interview with the Roc Nation founder. The Jay-Z And Gayle King: Brooklyn’s Own television special will premiere Tuesday (November 14) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

“He’s more than a musician, he’s a mogul,” Gayle King says about Jay-Z. “He’s more than a rapper, he’s a visionary.” Brooklyn’s Own features never-before-seen footage from King’s three-hour interview with the Hip-Hop icon at the Brooklyn Public Library.

The rare interview with Jay-Z includes the 4:44 album creator discussing his business ventures, his music career, and the stories behind some of his famous lyrics. He also chats about growing up in Brooklyn’s Marcy Houses.

“The fact that people go there and take pictures in front of this is just amazing to me ‘cause this, you know, the Marcy Houses that I grew up, it was not a tourist attraction,” Jay-Z tells Gayle King on the CBS Mornings-produced show.

Throughout his run as a recording artist, Jay-Z has won 24 Grammy Awards. That total ties the all-time record for Hip-Hop acts. His The Throne groupmate, Kanye West, also has 24 Grammy victories. Additionally, Jay holds the record for most No. 1 albums by a solo act with 14 chart-toppers.

“I think what matters most is, today, is, being a beacon and helping out… my culture. People of color. I think I pull the most satisfaction from that. Like making music earlier was my first love,” the 53-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer stated.

Jay-Z also added, “That consumed me. That’s why my pace was so fast. I had so much material… And I think now the idea of taking that platform and, reproducing it for others or doing something like [Reform Alliance]… I think I derive the most joy from that.”

Little Simz Reflects On Success Of Epic World Tour With Heartwarming Childhood Memory

Little Simz is reflecting on her epic No Thank You world tour as her time on the road comes to an end.  

The British rapper ended her run with an epic finale in her hometown on Saturday (November 11), selling out London’s Alexandra Palace.  

“You need to know you’re witnessing greatness,” Little Simz declared mid-way through her set. “I don’t say that with arrogance, I say it with confidence.” 

Little Simz was previously forced to cancel her Sometimes I Might Be Introvert North American tour scheduled for spring 2022, citing financial difficulties.  

However, the independent artist turned things around, wowing audiences stateside during a 10-date stretch on her No Thank You tour between September and October.  

On Monday (November 13), Little Simz took to Instagram to reflect on the success of her tour, revealing that she used to dream of touring as a little girl.  

“Nothing I say on here will truly encompass how I feel , but I’ll try my best,” she began her touching post.   

 “I used to pretend my bedroom was a different city/venue each night,” little Simz continued before adding, “I used to take my sisters iPod headphones and use them as in-ears before I went on stage (my bed). I used to make up imaginary tour schedules around my school schedule.” 

According to Little Simz, “I didn’t just dream of this at night, I believed with my whole everything this is my purpose.” 

The “Introvert” hitmaker concluded her post by thanking her team and the fans before revealing she was taking a well-earned break.

Boosie Badazz Reflects On Jeezy Giving His Mom $20K While He Was In Prison: “I’m a Jeezy Fan For Life”

While Boosie Badazz is feuding with his brother and Yung Bleu over their financial affairs, he has no such discrepancy with Jeezy, who he praised for holding his mother down while he was behind bars. 

The Baton Rouge-bred rapper paid tribute at the “GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop” concert in Los Angeles last week during Jeezy’s performance.  

“That’s my boy! He gave me $20,000 in jail — I’ll never forget it,” Boosie said of Jeezy in a video clip. “He gave my mama $20,000 cash. Boy, that n#### helped.” 

Boosie also declared himself “a Jeezy fan for life,” adding, “I was in jail and he gave my mama $20,000. Boy that s### helped. All blues! I’ll never forget.” Check out the video below.

In 2009, Boosie was sentenced to two years in prison following his arrest for possession of weed and a firearm. The judge doubled his sentence to four years after finding the rapper violated probation while awaiting sentencing. 

Then, in 2010, Boosie faced charges of first-degree murder plus the intent to distribute narcotics. A jury delivered a unanimous not-guilty verdict on the murder charge. Boosie later pleaded guilty to the drug charges and was sentenced to eight years in prison. He was released in 2014.  

Boosie previously praised Jeezy for supporting him during a 2014 interview. 

“Jeezy held me down the most,” he told DJ Skee before reflecting on how jail helped him grow. 

“It just made me a better person,” he added. “And it made me understand that I can’t mess up and do stupid stuff, little small mistakes, because they’re gonna try to slam me to the cross. Now, I’m ready. I’m focused. No more ‘Free Boosies!’” 

Ralo Slams “Haters” Over “Lame” Suggestion He Dissed Moneybagg Yo & CMG

Ralo is responding to the “haters” who claim he was taking shots at Yo Gotti’s CMG record label and Moneybagg Yo in his “First Day Out” single following his release from prison.  

After spending nearly six years in federal prison, Ralo walked out of prison as a free man on November 8. Just two days later, he dropped his comeback single, paying tribute to those who supported him financially while he was behind bars and pledging his allegiance to Gucci Mane.  

“I love Wop so I can’t never sign with CMG/ It ain’t no beef it’s just respect – they gon’ respect this s###,” Ralo raps on the track. “They disrespect this s###, I promise we might wreck this b####!” Check out the video below.

Ralo Denies Dissing Moneybagg Yo And CMG

However, some listeners claimed Ralo was reigniting a beef with Moneybagg Yo on “First Day Out” and taking aim at the label. 

Ralo took to Instagram Monday (November 13) to deny any beef. He called out his “haters,” accusing them of twisting “my words for clout and views.” 

The Famerica Records founder clarified, “the first thing I did when I walked out of prison was got on my knees thanking our lord, but the haters will never acknowledge the good, they only hear and see drama & evil.” He also said any suggestion he “dissed CMG & Money Bagg” is “lame.”  

Ralo continued, “They be so quick to try and twist my words for clout and views. You don’t have to ever guess when it comes to me because Idgaf about the industry. A lot of us just don’t believe in the same sht, so we won’t ever see eye to eye.” 

He declared, “Every word I said on that song is what I’m standing and dying on,” and told fans to keep watching.  

“We finna give yawl the greatest show on Earth,” Ralo concluded. “I planned this sht 6 years straight. It’s my turn!!!”

Ice Spice Tattoos Fan With Permanent Reminder Of Their Meeting

Ice Spice has left an indelible mark on one lucky fan who not only got to meet his idol, but got inked by her too.  

The “Barbie World” hitmaker recently linked with a Los Angeles-based tattoo artist, who goes by the name crybabyhunter on social media, after asking for recommendations on Twitter. It’s unclear if Ice Spice got any tattoos done herself. However, she did leave a permanent mark on the artist, who also happens to be a huge fan. 

She inked the words “Ice was here” on his wrist, her first attempt at tattooing. The artist shared a video of her etching the words into his skin. In the clip, he urges urging Ice Spice to ‘Go deeper” with the needle.

Over on X, the tattooist revealed that he met Ice Spice thanks to his followers. The Bronx-bred rapper asked her fans to tag “the best” tattoo artist in a post back in June.  

“because of YOU i was able to finally meet the ice queen today,” he wrote, sharing a photo.  

Meanwhile, Ice Spice recently celebrated some good news after snagging four Grammy nominations. On Friday (November 10), the Recording Academy announced the nominations for the 2024 show.  

Ice Spice is nominated for Best New Artist, Best Rap Song and Best Song Written For Visual Media for her “Barbie World” collab with Nicki Minaj. She also received a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with the Taylor Swift-assisted “Karma.”   

Sharing the news on Instagram, Ice Spice revealed she was “grateful.”

Tamar Braxton Claims Chrisean Rock Left Singer With “Gum Damage” & Multiple Injuries

Tamar Braxton has addressed the incident between Chrisean Rock and her backup singer, James Wright Chanel, over the weekend, claiming the reality TV starlet assaulted the singer leaving him with “gum damage” and multiple injuries (although she misspelled gum).

According to a member of Braxton’s team LeTroy, Rock lashed out after finding out she wasn’t going to perform at the concert. LeTroy claims Rock punched Chanel in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose.   

In an Instagram video Monday (November 13), the R&B singer claimed Chrisean Rock did assault the singer during her concert. She also hit back at claims she only invited the reality TV starlet to increase her chances of going viral. Braxton claims she viewed Rock “from afar as like a younger sister” and hoped to take her under the wing.  

“I knew she was rowdy, and I didn’t judge her for that,” Tamar Braxton said of Chrisean Rock.

Braxton also responded to accusations from Blueface’s mother that she should have foreseen the drama that comes with the volatile 23-year-old artist.  

“I’ve never met none of there people,” Braxton replied. “Please leave me alone. I’m only here because my brother James got hit in the face for being nice to a guest. He left with a chipped teeth, gun [gum] damage..and a busted nose and a concussion. However I still pray for those who need help. I come in love. God bless everyone.” 

In a follow-up post, Braxton revealed James Wright Chanel “is at the dentist getting new teeth” following the alleged assault.  

“Y’all leave me alone,” she added. “I was only trying to show CR love. I still think she needs hugs and real people.” 

Meanwhile, Chrisean Rock announced a social media break following the alleged assault. She deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts Sunday (November 12).

L-Boogie has been taking a few hits in the social media department recently. In the interest of being fair, I wanted to share a complete clip of a recent controversial moment involving Ms. Lauryn Hill that garnered attention last week. She shared it over the weekend, and I thought it was important to highlight it. She wasn’t dismissing her lateness as a snippet may have suggested.

Watching the entire clip presents a vastly different narrative. It actually unfolded as a pretty beautiful moment. Context proves crucial here, and social media painted a fairly misleading picture compared to the message conveyed in full. Lauryn Hill’s words were actually a powerful tribute to her mother. I found it incredibly moving. It’s sad and sick how online trolls can twist something loving into a negative piece of crap for the sake of clicks.

2 Chainz & Lil Wayne Deliver “Welcome 2 Collegrove” Trailer Narrated By 50 Cent

As 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne continue gearing up to release their collaborative project, Welcome 2 Collegrove, to the highly lyrical rap duo has enlisted Hip-Hop juggernaut 50 Cent to assist with the rollout for the project.

On Monday (November 13) 2 Chainz jumped on Twitter to share the trailer, which also included a partial tracklist for Welcome 2 Collegrove. Clocking in at just over one minute, the trailer, which 2 Chainz noted function as the opening scene to the project, tells the story of how a young Tity Boi and Weezy F. Baby came together through their shared interests in areas such as music and trapping.

“Welcome 2 Collegrove :: Scene 1 narrated by @50cent 1. G6 2. Big Diamonds Feat @21savage 3. Presha 4. Long Story Short,” 2 Chainz wrote in the tweet.

In addition to 21 Savage’s appearance, the project is also home to a stacked production unit featuring contributions from the likes of Mannie Fresh, Juicy C, Big K.R.I.T. and Wayne’s “Amilli” producer, Bangladesh. It appears as though several additional album trailers will be released, per 2 Chainz indication and due to the fact the preorder available for the album is intact with at least 21 tracks. In contrast, the original ColleGrove project released in 2016 was home to 13-tracks and was solely handled by 2 Chainz and Weezy himself.

If your timeline is set up like any of the combined 260 million followers Rihanna has garnered between Instagram and Twitter alone, you probably heard the news today.

Said news is the alleged bombshell concerning the confirmation of RiRi’s third pregnancy with hubby A$AP Rocky. Well, really, the news scoop lies in the lack of confirmation of the announcement. Based on the news cycle, it appears a number of outlets began breaking the purported news of RiRi and Rocky’s third baby as early as November 11 due to the circulation of a viral video suspected to be a deep fake.

Even though the deep fake video is pretty crazy as far as how well RiRi’s likeness is duplicated, a simple Google search can easily debunk the rumor as such. In August, the Barbadian singer and entrepreneur told People that she let her family was “complete” after having baby No. 2 with Rocky.
