Cardi B Goes Off On Dalai Lama And “Predators”…And Then Her Haters!

Cardi B!

The Dalai Lama shook up the world today, when a months-old video resurfaced. In the video, he asked a young boy to suck his tongue. It was very creepy and very weird, giving us all flashbacks of Catholic priests molesting young boys. His Holiness apologized for the act, but it did not stop people from talking voraciously about it.

One person that went in on the act was rapper Cardi B. She called him a predator without name-checking him. But it was pretty clear on who she was referring to, and even cited the church in her rant. What is very interesting is that people immediately looked at her own past, specifically the allegations that she used to drug and sexually assaulted men when they were inebriated.

She said, “This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money ,power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

She said she did that, but she seems to sideswipe that and even make excuses for it. I don’t really want to bring up this old stuff, but she probably should have ignored the comment. And if she said what she said, don’t reply to the comment section. Anyway, here’s what she said, after being criticized herself.

She said, “How are y’all bringing up a situation from my past when GROWN A DRUNK MEN were trying to take advantage of me and finesse me out my body because I said protect ya kids from predators? Like do y’all want them to get preyed on or something? ..PROTECT OUR KIDS and let them know not to let anyone touch their private parts. Don’t let no one kiss them in their mouth. And always feel comfortable letting mommy and daddy know what happens. If you find a problem wit that then I’m side eyeing you.

She is partially right…protecting kids is the priority in this evil world. And it is still wrong to sodomize men when they are drugged up. IJS! Anyway, the Dalai Lama has always been the gold standard of goodness and wholesome religious energy. Some have said that in his native land, sticking out your tongue is a common act of affection. There has never been anything weird or creepy associated with it. But the sucking part is not in the norm for Tibetan people.

Here is an example:

I suppose we just have to keep moving, but I do think that it is quite disgusting to think about, despite them saying it was “innocent and playful.”

Cardi B sees you!!

Hotblock Jmoe & Tyla Yaweh Take AllHipHop Behind The Scenes of “Role Play” Video

Hotblock Jmoe is an artist that is definitely on the rise, and one to be on the lookout for.

The Chicago native definitely delivers through his melodic storytelling.

Hotblock’s smooth melodies accompanied by true-to-the-street lyrics and heartfelt nature are capturing the ears of Hip-Hop fans as his music gives true insight and unfiltered emotions of a boy that was raised into a man by the streets, which resonates with listeners.

The Hip-Hop recording artist released his debut album, ‘Da Hottest’ earlier this year, and based on the title, it’s just that.

To celebrate the release of the album, Hotblock threw an album release party and performance in Los Angeles at The Roxy Theatre with guest performances and features from G Herbo, Fresco Trey, and Tyla Yaweh.

‘Da Hottest’ is an introductory album highlighting Hotblock’s unique flow and solidifying his mark in the game, along with a stacked, star-studded lineup. Preceding the release of the album, Hotbolock released singles such as “Long Road” featuring G Herbo, “9x Outta 10” featuring Tory Lanez, “658” produced by Supah Mario, and “Blame on Us” featuring Fresco Trey. He also released his single “Role Play” featuring Tyla Yaweh.

The album chronicles Hotblock’s rise into the game as he touches on family, friends and foes.

Hotblock and Velcro Records invited AllHipHop to the Velcro Records Mansion to witness the behind the scenes of the “Role Play” video.

Dalai Lama In Hot Water After Asking Boy To Suck His Tongue

The Dalai Lama, a religious leader for millions of Buddhists across the world, has issued an apology after asking a young child to suck his tongue while kissing him on the lips.

The statement was issued on Monday, April 10, from the office of “His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet” read, “A video clip has been circulating that shows a recent meeting when a young boy asked His Holiness the Dalai Lama if he could give him a hug. His Holiness wishes to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.”

Adding, “His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident.”

According to NPR, the incident happened in February 2023 at the Dalai Lama’s home, the Tsuglagkhang Temple complex. At the time, 120 students had gathered in celebration of completing a course in their studies.

In the clip, which has been viewed by over 4 million people since its release, the 87-year-old Buddhist priest is approached by a young boy that then asks him for a hug.

The religious leader approves the boy to come to the stage, points to his cheek, and says, “first here.”

The boy kisses the Dalai Lama on the cheek, which is followed up by a hug. However, the priest does not immediately release the child but continues to hold him, before saying to him, “I think here also,” motioning to his lips.

With his hands, he cups the boy’s chin and kisses him on the mouth. The crowd erupts in what seems to be a sweet and innocent act of love, but then it got strange.

The Dalai Lama says, “and suck my tongue.”

The boy did not.

Lil Uzi Vert’s New Tongue Tat Fuels Satanic Rumors

This is crazy!

It really seems that these artists are engaged in some serious extracurricular activities! Lil Uzi Vert likely jinxed The Eagles chance to win their second Super Bowl. That should have been Meek Mill walking them out to “Dreams & Nightmares,” not that danceable Diddy-bop “I Just Wanna Rock.” Anyway, there’s something else! Look at this:

Dude got an upside down cross TATTED on his tongue.

According to Christianity.com, this is the definition of the upside down or inverted cross:

An inverted pentagram is a more common symbol attached to the Church of Satan and Satanism, but an inverted cross is also used, such as in the Satanic Temple’s ceremony unveiling the Baphomet statue.

In popular culture, such as in music and movies, the upside down cross can mean anti-Christian and Satanist sentiments specifically or rebellion against social and political power in general. In Hollywood films like Rosemary’s Babyand The Conjuring, upside down crosses are associated with demonic activity and overall evilness to viscerally creep the audience out.

Source!

There are other meanings, but nobody knows them without googling! Honestly, I do not see this as particularly serious. But, if you have no knowledge of self, you could be confused in the messaging. As for me, this is trolling, plain and simple. Rappers know that this will get attention and potentially controversy.

Just last month we talked about this, as he said he was taking his fans to hell.

What do you think?

Meek Mill Working To Help Formerly Incarcerated Men Get A Second Chance

On Saturday, April 8, Philly rapper and activist Meek Mill and his REFORM Alliance kicked off Second Chance Month by hosting a Community Day of Action in his hometown of South Philly.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by REFORM Alliance (@reform)

Most people don’t know, but just days ago, on March 31, 2023, President Joe Biden proclaimed April as Second Chance Month, calling for citizens to observe the month by “recognizing the importance of helping individuals, communities, and agencies across the country appreciate their role in supporting the safe and successful reentry of millions of people returning from incarceration each year.”

The month was created to “inform and highlight the many opportunities for state, local, and tribal governments and community-based service providers to build meaningful second chances for our returning community members.”

According to Action News 6, the Community Day of Action was set up to do just that… encourage people to give second chances to people as they re-enter society after doing time.

Britton Smith, senior director of strategic partnerships for the event, said, “If people have better circumstances, we can produce better outcomes.”

“Often times it’s a barrier for people to get to some of these service providers, or they don’t even know. Or they’re scared to ask,” Smith explained.

The day included basic recruitment tactics to get people to come out. It was free to the public. It had music, food, a bouncy house for kids, and much more. It also got down to business and included expungement services, mental health, housing assistance, and employment opportunities.

“It’s important that we engage the population in our city, most importantly that we engage our reformed population, so they know they have an opportunity and there’s a better chance out there next time,” said Katherine Gilmore-Richardson, council member at large.

More than a dozen community organizations participated in the Reform Alliance’s activation.

Earlier this year, Meek Mill’s REFORM Alliance ventured to Virginia State University to speak about Criminal Justice on campus. More events are planned for the year. Check out the organization’s social media to see updates.

Kanye Students Are Not Even Graded On Their Work, Says Former Teacher

One of two teachers, a mother and daughter pair, who was fired from Kanye West’s Donda Academy is speaking out about her wrongful termination. She claims she and other strong African American women were let go because of their uncompromising stances on educating the students.

Now away from the school, she says the students don’t have enough resources in the school, like basic chairs, and even complaints about sushi being on the lunch menu.

She also has issued a warning to parents who still may have children enrolled in the unaccredited school: your kids aren’t being educated and you might be trapped at the school because there are no transcripts.

In an interview with TMZ, Cecilia Hailey said, “[Parents] need to consider that it’s going to be very hard for them to be able to transfer their kids out of that school next year or later because there are no grades.”

“They can’t get transcripts,” she continued. “And that they’re not getting what they need. They’re absolutely not getting what they need. The kids are being suppressed because of all the constant changes that go on at the school.”

Many of the changes have been connected to West’s controversial statements last year.

Hailey said there are programs set up that, on paper, look great, but the teachers are not consistent in teaching the curriculum.

“We have something in place called ‘Educate’ that we haven’t even been keeping up with,” she informed. “But since I’ve been there have been no report cards given to the students or progress reports … [and] because [Donda] is not accredited, you really can’t get any documents from the school to show where you’ve been. We can tell you about things that we graded but for it to be legitimately documented with the Department of Education, they don’t have that.”

Hailey says new public and private schools will have to test students to assess exactly what grade the students should place in.

However, if the students should be on a 6th-grade level but test lower— they will be placed in the lower grade or receive an IEP, an Individualized Education Program is a legal document under United States law that is developed for each public-school child in the U.S. who needs special education.

One of the most shocking allegations is that students at the Donda Academy are not taught about the Holocaust or African American history. Hailey said that was one of her major issues with the school.

The former Donda teacher says she does not believe Kanye West is totally at blame for the school, even though she has named him in the retaliation and wrongful termination lawsuit. She believes it is the administrators who are chiefly at fault.

She did have words for the founder, “Ye West, I’m so thankful to you for having the opportunity to be at your school but things are not going the way they should: academically, socially, or spiritually.”

Adding, “You need to back it down and retry again with people who know what they’re doing, who can execute a vision, and who can help you understand that we don’t know anything about producing albums, but we know how to educate.”

Hailey told the rapper the “children’s lives” are in his hands and if he is really “trying to carry out the vision” of his mother, Donda West, a college professor, he is sorely off track.

Grafh Says 50 Cent Would Have Been Welcomed At Chaz “Slim” Williams’s Funeral; Says There Are No Hard Feelings

Rapper Grafh has come forward to clear the air about his relationship with 50 Cent and G-Unit despite a feud between Fif and Grafh’s former manager, Chaz “Slim” Williams.

Grafh insists there is no ill will between him and the G-Unit Boss.

The tension between Chaz Williams and 50 Cent dates back to their early days in the music industry. Chaz had managed 50 Cent during his time with Columbia Records, but their partnership soured after 50 Cent was infamously shot nine times in 2000.

Since then, rumors of Grafh being blackballed by 50 Cent due to his association with Chaz and Black Hand Entertainment have swirled around the Hip-Hop community.

However, Grafh has now stepped up to set the record straight. He recently revealed that he holds no grudges against 50 Cent or G-Unit, explaining that he has always felt love and respect from them. He said, “Anytime I seen him, it was always, the energy was always love.”

“I never had a personal problem with 50. 50 from around my way. I f### with son, you know what I’m saying? Every time I seen him, it was love. Yeah. Shout out to 50, shout out to G-Unit. I think him and Chaz had their own relationship outside of me,” Grafh told AllHipHop.com during a recent interview.

Grafh also stressed that Chaz had a deep affection for 50 Cent, even when their personal relationship was strained. He stressed that Chaz always spoke highly of 50, despite their differences.

Chaz Williams passed away in 2019, leaving behind a complicated legacy in the music industry. Grafh wanted to make sure that 50 Cent understood the true nature of their relationship.

Grafh emphasized that had 50 Cent attended Chaz’s funeral to pay his respects, he would have been welcomed with open arms.

“if he had came to the funeral to pay his respects, I don’t know if he would’ve wanted to or not, but he would’ve been embraced. It was never no ill energy regarding his name in that circle; you know what I’m saying? So I’m glad I got to say that on this platform because I don’t know if he knows that,” Grafh told http://AllHipHop.com .

Hopefully, Grafh’s words have put to rest any lingering doubts about his relationship with 50 Cent and G-Unit.

Graf recently struck a deal with an NFT platform called The HUSL. And he has been busy dropping music with producer ..38 Spesh, including “Life Is Beautiful” featuring Stove God Cooks & Bun B and “Finesse” featuring Rome Streetz.

Meet Dré Anthony, A Toronto Rapper On The Rise

Dré Anthony has always had a great passion for music, despite the struggles he faced growing up in Toronto. He often addresses his life experiences in his music, which is where most of his inspiration comes from. When it comes to sound and style, he describes himself as a versatile artist. “Depending on the song or genre, I might rap, sing or have a melodic tune or do something else. It just depends,” he said. Furthermore, Dré also writes his own lyrics and has even tried his hand at producing music, something he would like to pursue in the future.

The rapper first started recording in 2014 and he hasn’t stopped ever since. A few years later, he released his first mixtape Dice, which created a bit of a buzz among hip-hop buffs. In 2021, he dropped “Shining”, a bouncy track that was well-received by both critics and listeners. Now, Dré is gearing up for the release of three new singles. “One is an alternative R&B/Pop record with rap verses and a guitar instrumental. Another is a Pop/Hip-Hop record that’s very catchy,” he continued. “The third single is a Pop/Dancehall record with singing on the hook.”

As far as musical influences go, Dré names 3 artists he looks up to; Tupac, for his real and raw talent, Michael Jackson for not only being one of the most successful artists but also for his ability to influence and inspire others, and DMX, for his distinctive style and speaking the truth in his lyrics. Anthony’s mindset is similar, as he too would like to make an impact, and inspire those who come across his music. He encourages people to pursue their dreams and not give up. “I want them to know you can change your life if you desire to.”

Check out Dré Anthony on all social media platforms and listen to his music on Spotify, Apple Music and Soundcloud.

Benzino Defends “Necessary Hypocrisy” For Not Wanting Coi Leray To Smoke Weed

Raymond “Benzino” Scott is the former co-owner of the iconic Hip Hop magazine The Source. However, his greatest contribution to Hip Hop culture could end up being his offspring Coi Leray Collins.

Professionally known as Coi Leray, the Republic recording artist currently has one of the most popular songs in the United States. The “Players” single became her first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Benzino and Coi Leray have had several public spats that may have caused the father and daughter to become estranged in recent years. That possible separation did not stop Zino from discussing Leray supposedly smoking weed as a teenager on The GOATs and Underdogs Podcast.

“She’s about 15, 16 [years old],” recalled Benzino about Coi Leray’s apparent initial marijuana usage from nearly a decade ago. “I don’t want her to smoke. So it’s like, man, I don’t wanna be the bad guy.”

One of the podcast hosts then asked Benzino to share what age he began smoking weed. The now-57-year-old man replied, “Thirteen.” Clearly, recognizing the double standard in his responses, Benzino quickly offered, “It’s called necessary hypocrisy.”

Coi Leray Once Suggested Benzino Needs To Get Help

Hulu’s RapCaviar Presents showcased Coi Leray as a central figure in the documentary series. During the “Hate Me Now” episode of the show, Leray explained how her lifestyle changed dramatically after her parents split up.

“It was nice cars. It was nice clothes,” said Leray about the early stages of her life with Benzino. “But relationships always don’t last. My mom and dad didn’t stay together… At that point, my mom couldn’t really give us everything we wanted… We didn’t get the nicest things or have the nicest things. So I feel like it was replaced with freedom.”

Since Coi Leray became a celebrity in her own right, the Trendsetter album creator publicly addressed her father’s behavior on multiple occasions. For example, in April 2022, Leray suggested Benzino needed to get help. Days later, Leray called on people to pray for her dad.

Coi Leray’s “Players” presently sits at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 after peaking at No. 9 on the chart. A remix version of the track features Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes. Leray also made it onto the Hot 100 with singles such as “No More Parties” with Lil Durk, “Big Purr (Prrdd)” with Pooh Shiesty, and “Blick Blick” with Nicki Minaj.

Chlöe Bailey Talks Dealing With Depression [VIDEO]

R&B recording artist Chlöe Bailey officially made the jump to becoming a solo act by releasing her In Pieces album last month. One-half of the sister duo of Chloe x Halle stepped out on her own in the music world.

Last week, Tamron Hall invited Chlöe Bailey on her daytime talk show to discuss a variety of topics. At one point during the sitdown interview, Hall asked the 24-year-old entertainer about overcoming being in a dark place at a certain time in her life.

“You know when you get stuck in that moment for too long, and it feels a little too long being there?” asked Bailey. She added, “It didn’t have anything to do with my career or my music. It was all personal, internal things. And I think when you figure things out that make you question your entire life, you look at yourself like, ‘What did I do wrong? Am I good enough?’ Things like that.”

Singer/Actress Chlöe Bailey Says She Prayed To Be In The Position To Help People

Chlöe Bailey went on to tell Tamron Hall that she used music to get herself out of that depressive state. The “Have Mercy” vocalist also acknowledged her family members, including her younger sibling Halle Bailey, for helping to lift her spirits.

“I want people to know because I don’t want there to be a young woman or a young fella out there feeling alone. Like there’s something wrong with them. It’s not,” stated Bailey. “Especially right now in this generation with social media, and everything all in your face and you’re comparing your worst self to everyone’s fake best self and you know with FOMO and things like that.”

The Swarm actress also said, “If I could just help one person feel less alone and inspired to go talk to someone or lean on a family or friend member, then I know I’ve done my job because this is greater than myself. And ever since I was young, I’ve always prayed to God like, ‘God, I want to do this. I also want to inspire and help people.’ So while I’m helping and healing myself, that’s why I created this album because it was therapy for me and now I can use it to hopefully help someone else.”

Logic Teams Up With C Dot Castro To Create HalfBREED Rap Duo

It appears Logic will continue to lean into his personal story of being a mixed-race child. After rapping about the subject throughout his career, the 33-year-old recording artist has apparently formed a new duo called halfBREED.

Logic took to his Instagram account to announce that he has partnered with BobbyBoy Records signee C Dot Castro for a joint project. The tandem plans to start this week off by releasing a new collaborative body of work.

“Me and my brother @cdotcastro301 have officially formed a rap group called @halfbreed301 and are releasing an EP Monday the 10th at 9 pm PST. Love to the fans y’all! #RattPack #halfBREED,” wrote Logic in the Instagram caption.

Logic just dropped the College Park studio LP on February 24. College Park peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 chart. Previously, Logic topped the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Everybody, 2018’s Bobby Tarantino II, and 2019’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Some Hip Hop Heads Have Had Logic In The Hot Seat For Weeks

The halfBREED announcement comes after Logic recently faced criticism for using the word “n####” in his music and online content. Critics also slammed the half-Black, half-white rapper born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II for covering classic Hip Hop songs like “It Was a Good Day” by Ice Cube.

Emcee-turned-podcaster Joe Budden has become one of the most outspoken Logic detractors. Budden even demanded the “1-800-273-8255” hitmaker join him in rap retirement following the “It Was a Good Day” remake.

After retiring from making music in 2020 before making a comeback in 2021, Logic does not appear ready to walk away from the studio again. In fact, the reworked “It Was a Good Day” could be a forerunner to a full-length cover album of 1990s-era Hip Hop classics. Logic teased that potential project last month.

Tony Yayo Reacts To Angel Reese Using His “You Can’t See Me” Move [VIDEO]

Many people credit WWE superstar John Cena for popularizing the “You Can’t See Me” hand gesture. However, Cena publicly acknowledged he originally got that taunt from G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo.

The Tony Yayo/John Cena-inspired “You Can’t See Me” recently became a topic of conversation again following controversy connected to the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament. Sports talking heads spent days dissecting the issue involving African-American LSU player Angel Reese and Caucasian Iowa player Caitlin Clark.

During the championship game, Angel Reese directed the “You Can’t See Me” gesture at Caitlin Clark as a final nail in the coffin for LSU’s eventual 102-85 victory over Iowa. Before that, Clark also adopted “You Can’t See Me” to heckle Iowa’s Elite Eight opponent Louisville.

Many people called out public figures like Dave Portnoy and Keith Olbermann for blasting Angel Reese for doing the “You Can’t See Me” while seemingly ignoring Caitlin Clark exhibiting the same behavior. Tony Yayo has now shared his thoughts on the matter.

Tony Yayo Says The Backlash Towards Angel Reese Is Crazy

TMZ Sports spoke to Tony Yayo about Angel Reese and the negative reactions that have been directed at the 20-year-old athlete from Maryland. The Thoughts of a Predicate Felon album creator defended Reese’s on-court actions as part of the competitive nature of sports.

“I think it’s kinda crazy because Angel Reese does it and it’s a problem. But then when Caitlin Clark did it, it wasn’t a problem. So of course it looked crazy out there. You had sportscasters that were calling a young, Black female all kinda crazy stuff online and these are professional guys,” said Tony Yayo.

He continued, “It was kinda crazy to me because in basketball, any kind of sport, talking trash is a part of the game. I mean, it was for the championship game. Shout out to LSU and [University of Iowa]. And shout out to Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. But I feel like it’s competition.”

In addition to Tony Yayo, Baton Rouge-raised rapper Boosie Badazz also stood up for Angel Reese and his hometown’s Louisiana State University. Boosie even called out First Lady Jill Biden for suggesting the losing team should join the NCAA Champions LSU for a White House visit.

The “Summer Block Party Tour” announcement comes after Mary J. Blige’s Strength Of A Woman Festival booked Jodeci for the 2023 event in Atlanta. It will be the first time Blige and the four men shared a stage together in over 30 years.

“At the end of the day, Jodeci and Mary J. Blige, we’re a family, and we helped each other in a lot of ways,” said Blige in March. “Me and JoJo wrote some songs together, and he sang background.”

She added, “So regardless of whatever our little beef was back in the day, we were young, but now we’re all grown. At the end of the day, I’m a fan of Jodeci. We realize how important we are to each other, so it was beautiful to see them.”

Former couple K-Ci and Mary J. Blige collaborated for “I Don’t Want to Do Anything” off MJB’s What’s the 411? album from 1992. DeVante Swing produced and co-wrote the song. Jodeci’s JoJo and K-Ci also worked with Blige to write songs on her second studio LP My Life.

U.K. Grime Rapper Bugzy Malone Reflects On Manifesting Hollywood Dreams

Bugzy Malone has come a long way from his humble beginnings as a grime artist, and is sharing the secrets of his success.

Credited as one of the instigators of a grime resurgence during the 2010s and the first successful artist in the genre to emerge from Manchester, Bugzy Malone received critical acclaim and chart success throughout his music career.

However, he later branched into acting, debuting in Guy Ritchie’s 2016 movie The Gentleman. The role must have pleased the British filmmaker as Bugzy Malone is back with a starring role in Ritchie’s latest film, spy thriller Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

He took to Instagram this weekend to reflect on his journey, sharing a throwback video from a few years ago. “I’m preparing myself for the next level. Because now what I’ve told myself is that I’m going to Hollywood. I’m going to be doing some big things out there,” Bugzy Malone said in 2019.

Showing the “War Mode” hitmaker manifesting his acting dreams, the video then cuts to the trailer for his new movie. The clip is backed by Bugzy’s latest Fire in the Booth verse, where he raps about becoming a Hollywood hero. Check out the video below and watch the trailer at the end of the page.

Bugzy Malone On How To Make Your Dream Reality

Bugzy Malone also took to the caption with a motivational message for his followers.

“2019 VS 2023🔥 Dreams do become reality,” he penned in the caption. “What they don’t explain to you is how much time, hard work and belief it actually takes. 🔋😤 The hardest thing about success is actually believing it will happen. Once you master your thoughts, you can build on your vision. 🧠💭”

He continued, “All we have is our vision. We are much more than just our job descriptions, we are the designers of our own futures. But they don’t teach you that in school. 📚👩‍🏫 For those that want to see others fall to make them feel better about their own failure, you get no rating and you are looking in the wrong place. ❌👀”

Ultimately, Bugzy Malone said, “The road is a long one and no one ever said it was going to be easy,’ but promised his journey was just beginning.

Doja Cat Backtracks After Claiming She Is Quitting Pop To Prove She Can Rap

Doja Cat fans were left confused over the weekend after a series of updates about new music from the Planet Her creator.

Over the past few months, Doja Cat has given a range of answers when asked about her album. She’s teased various genres but on Saturday seemingly confirmed her fourth studio LP will be rap-centered.

“no more pop,” she tweeted, admitting, “pop isnt exciting to me anymore. I dont wanna make it.”

The L.A. native added she’s “definitely a rapper,” and revealed that she wants to showcase her rapping chops.

“i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” she said in response to criticism of her Hip-Hop credentials, adding “I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.”

However, when she returned the following day with another update, Doja Cat appeared to have changed direction again.

“The whole album is no longer rap yall,” she shared. “its rock/spoken word and the album title is not Hellmouth anymore. Album is called Moist Holes.”

She returned to say she was only kidding, but her next update left fans feeling trolled. “its gonna be a french conceptual experimental country/bohemian fusion with the essence of blue-grass,” wrote Doja.

Doja Cat Says She’s Quitting Music – Just Kidding!

Then within the space of just a few minutes, Doja Cat, who enjoys trolling her fans, fired off another frantic series of tweets. In Under an hour, the “Kiss Me More” hitmaker twice announced she is quitting music before taking it back.

“im done with this music s### its only making me sadder every day. i cant take it anymore,” Doja penned. Nonetheless, seconds later, she said, “jp ima finish this album yall dont worry,” and teased a country music project.

Last May Doja Cat said her upcoming project will focus on rap after critics said she was a pop singer, not a rapper. Then in September, she teased a “’90s German rave kind of vibe,” but later admitted she was trolling.

“I’m doing an R&B album… Straight R&B no rap at all,” she said, but then changed her mind again, saying the project will be Rock and then experimental Jazz.

Drake Jokes: “We Identical Twins” After Fans Mistake Rick Ross For Drizzy

There aren’t too many Hip-Hop fans who would confuse Drake and Rick Ross, but that’s exactly what happened while the Biggest Boss was in Jamaica.

As one of the most enduring duos of the last decade, Drake and Rick Ross have churned out numerous collaborations over the years. Such is their chemistry they considered a joint album with Rozay floating the title The YOLO Tape years ago.

However, while they blend seamlessly on wax, creating iconic music, the pair look nothing alike. That didn’t stop two ladies from thinking they had run into Drake when they saw Rick Ross in Jamaica.

On Sunday (Apr. 9), Rozay took to his Instagram Story to share some scenes from his trip to the island. Although he was in Jamaica to perform, he still managed to take in some of the tropical scenery and local cuisine.

He posted a video of himself with two local women who appeared to be fans, embracing the ladies who flashed beaming smiles.

“Listen, do you know my name?” the MMG honcho asked before both women replied, “I do” confidently. When he asked them who he is, one of the women confidently stated: “Drake’ while the other hesitated for a moment before repeating her friend’s answer.

“Incorrect,” Ross stated as the women howled with laughter. When they asked him who he really is if not Drake, Rick Ross answered using his best patois, “The big belly rude boy, true ting dis.”

Drake Jokes He And Rick Ross Are “Identical”

“They need you in Jamaica” Rick Ross wrote on IG, tagging Drake, who replied, “At least they know we identical twins.”

A month after dropping the Scary Hours 2 cut “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” Rick Ross teased a possible full-length LP with Drake.

“After our latest release…’Lemon Pepper Freestyle’, we had that conversation and it’s most definitely under serious consideration.”

While it hasn’t materialized yet, a project from the duo responsible for iconic tracks like including “Aston Martin Music,” “Stay Schemin’,” “Lord Knows,” “Gold Roses,” and “Diced Pineapples” is worth waiting for.

Webbie Responds To Clowning Over Viral Crop-Top Photo Tribute To Pimp C

Webbie’s recent tribute to the late Pimp C didn’t quite go to plan, with fans widely ridiculing him for his outfit.

The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram on Saturday with a snap from a photoshoot. In the pic, Webbie dons a pair of black jeans, white sneakers, and a black fur coat with a matching fedora hat. However, some fans raised eyebrows at the sight of his exposed torso peeking out from what appears to be a crop top or rolled-up tank top, perhaps to show off his “Savage Life” tattoo.

“COLD WORLD 🌎#movie OTW🎥.Izup👆🏽 R.I.P PIMP C 🙏💯,’ he penned in the caption. He also wrote “like father like son” and referred to himself as “Sweet Jones,” the late rapper’s nickname but with a “Jr.” added.

While Webbie may have been paying homage to Pimp C’s iconic style, which saw him regularly draped in fur coats and hats, not all of his fans got the memo. Some rushed to the comments section to get their jokes off, clowning the rapper’s fit.

“No shirt would had done the job‼️” wrote one while another asked, “Webbie you been gangsta all yo life and you pop up on my TL in a crop top?”

One commenter, a super fan, blamed the photographer: “Nahhh bro.. I got you in my top 5 of all time! You can’t do this to me.. I’m already arguing with 🥷’s that tell me you shouldn’t be there… as a photographer I wouldn’t have let you do this man.”

Webbie Responds

However, Webbie didn’t see the funny side and returned to Instagram a few hours later with a video. He told fans to stop clowning his fit and questioned why people don’t post his work in the community but shared the viral photoshoot.

“I just wanna know why y’all don’t repost, double post s### when I tell the kids to stay in school and you can be whatever you wanna be. The positive things about life…’cause that’s what I represent,” Webbie declared. “Savage Life ’cause I done been through it all, ya heard?”

He also had a warning for those who trolled him over his outfit “Quit playin’. Quit playin’ on that internet before s### get crazy, man, for real,” he added, before lifting his shirt to reveal his “Savage Life” tattoo.

A day later, Webbie shared another image from the same Pimp C tribute shoot, but this time fully clothed.
