Lil Nas X has ruffled feathers since announcing the onset of his “Christian Era,” but he insists he’s taking his faith seriously and will be taking bible studies at college this fall.  

After announcing his upcoming single, “J Christ,” the controversial rap star took to social media to announce his acceptance to Liberty University. He shared a letter from the institution where Lil Nas X says he’ll be taking a dual concentration in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies. 

“I know twitter hates me right now but i want yall to know im literally about to go to college for biblical studies in the fall,” he shared on x Tuesday (January 9). “Not everything is a troll! Anyways IM A STUDENT AGAIN! LETS GOOO.” 

Lil Nas X Accused Of Blasphemy

Lil Nas X faced backlash over the promo surrounding his upcoming single set to arrive on Friday, January 12. Critics accused him of blasphemy after he recreated The Crucifixion for the “J Christ” cover art.  

“MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME! J CHRIST,” he wrote alongside an image of him tied to a cross.  

Another promo visual features Lil Nas X on a golden cross that transforms into a robot. A third sees the rapper don an ethereal white gown and angel-wing ear appendages while holding two serious-looking firearms.  

“now i don’t like lil nas either but yall really gone pretend yall didn’t wanna do this s### as kids?” he wrote alongside a video of himself seemingly knocking back shots of Communion wine and wolfing down Sacramental bread.  

He also responded to a fan who urged him to “aim higher” instead of “making noise by trolling judgmental Christians.” 

“the problem is y’all judge everything at face value,” Lil Nas X replied. “i’ve never released a visual without an underlying meaning and y’all know that. but since i’m a troll y’all discount my art as just ‘pissing ppl off.’” 

Teyana Taylor Says Iman Shumpert Is Often High On Drugs While Watching Their Kids

Teyana Taylor is accusing her future ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, of poor parenting. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Taylor claims the former NBA star “consistently demonstrates a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children.” She says Shumpert sometimes smokes marijuana around their two children—Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert and Rue Rose Shumpert—and neglects to feed them.

In one incident, Taylor says Shumpert put their daughters in a rideshare during a trip to Chicago and had them dropped off at the United Center alone while he had a private driver take him to the same arena.

Teyana Taylor filed for divorce in January 2023 but didn’t make the information public until the following September. Roughly a month later, she broke her silence on the impending divorce via Instagram, writing, “I mind my business, don’t bother nobody & y’all know I’ve never played about my children, family & our privacy. I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets or blogs etc. So everyone claiming ‘said’ didn’t get any statements directly from ME. These statements were taken from private court documents that were leaked to the public. It is very heartbreaking that someone would take out the time to make such a private matter public for the world to see.

“However, Protecting my family is one thing I’ve ALWAYS done & for my children I will continue to do so. Please if y’all love y’all play nieces Junie & Rue like y’all have shown, please allow myself & my family some privacy to resolve this matter in peace y’all.”

Taylor allegedly wanted to end their marriage due to “cruel treatment,” something Shumpert denied. According to court docs filed last month, Shumpert asked a judge to dismiss Taylor’s claim that the reason she wanted to end their marriage was because she felt endangered. She also insisted Shumpert was irresponsible with their children. Shumpert requested to replace Taylor’s “cruel treatment” claim with an “irretrievably broken bond” and dismiss the irresponsible parenting claims.

But Taylor apparently feels otherwise. In the initial filing, Taylor said Shumpert was a “jealous narcissist.” She accused Shumpert of “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.” She also stated he was jealous of her stardom and insecure when she occupied the spotlight. As a result, she said she “began to intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage.” But, she argued, Shumpert “became more and more angry” about her fame.

SIGNS: Brawl Between Hasidic Jews & Cops Erupts Over Secret Tunnel In NYC Synagogue

Yes, a secret tunnel led to a brawl between Jewish worshippers and the police—and that’s about all we know so far. According to KIRO 7, authorities and a group described as “Hasidic Jewish worshippers” came to a clash after police attempted to shutdown a tunnel going into the side of a Brooklyn synagogue. Apparently, the historic church in Crown Heights—known as the Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters—was the subject of an emergency structural inspection after the tunnel was discovered. The brawl ensued when authorities were attacked by worshippers as they attempted to seal off the entrance to the tunnel.

A spokesperson for the Chabad reportedly told the Associated Press that a “group of extremist students” built the tunnel after breaking into a vacant building behind the headquarters. The underground passage apparently connected nearby offices and classrooms to the synagogue and videos began circulating of stained mattresses being pulled from the tunnels.

Sexyy Red disliked people classifying her music as so-called “p###y rap.” The “Pound Town” creator explained why she rejected the label in a recent Billboard cover story, saying, “I don’t agree with that because why is that the only thing you heard me talking about? That’s the only thing that you got out of everything I just said? You just heard me say ‘coochie?’

“I hate when they say that. I just rap about my daily life. Girls that live like me, I just rap about what we go through. I don’t sit and talk about coochie all day.”

Sexyy Red became known for her sexually explicit content, but her song “SkeeYee” displayed her crossover potential with its popularity in college and professional sports. Trina, who’s no stranger to sexual raps, encouraged fans and critics to give Sexyy Red time to grow as an artist.

“We don’t know what [she is] going to be talking about on the third or fourth album, but right now we’re talking about where we came from,” Trina told Billboard. “We’re talking about the bottom. The gutter, the trenches, the dirt, the slime, the scum. All of that. Some people have just grown above it and they’re not in the hood no more, but everybody has not got to that place yet.”

Trina continued, “You can’t expect them to be talking about the most lavish things in life and they haven’t addressed where they from and what they’ve seen and how they seen it. Give them a chance to grow. Give them a chance to elevate. Give them a chance to evolve. They’re still young women. They’re still under 30 years old. They still have time to do whatever they want to do, but this is just the beginning.”

Kodak Black’s Attorney Accuses Arresting Officer Of “Abuse Of Power” During Drug Bust

Kodak Black‘s attorney, Bradford Cohen, is speaking out about his client’s latest arrest. In an Instagram post uploaded on Tuesday (January 9), Cohen denies what the police found was cocaine during a December 2023 search of the rapper’s vehicle. Instead, he claims it was Oxycodone, which Kodak Black is legally prescribed.

“As stated when this new case first was filed, this was not cocaine and the officer was lying about his observations,” he wrote in the caption. “We finally got the lab report…its oxycodone that Kodak had a prescription for and not an illegal substance. Knowing that the officer substantially misrepresented his observations, the Broward State Atty Office still filed the charged. Unbelievable and it will not be tolerated. This level of abuse of power by the arresting officer is disgusting. We will be seeking a new bond hearing and addressing these unethical practices by the police department.”

Broward County police discovered Kodak Black asleep at the wheel of a black Bentley SUV with white powder in his mouth. They also found “white rock-like substances” on the ground after cuffing the rapper as well as a clear plastic baggie in his pocket, which was tested and reportedly confirmed to be cocaine, according to CBS News.

Cohen initially claimed the white substance officers found was Percocet, another powerful pain killer. As he told TMZ last month, “The test they do is a presumptive test for illegal substances. It just turns blue. My belief is that the ‘rock’ this officer found when tested will be a Percocet, not cocaine. There will be a couple of different phases of this treatment in order for him to get better. You have to treat the root problem of the dependency and that’s what is going to happen. We are going to alleviate dependency.”

But now Kodak Black has a myriad of problems to contend with as he sits in jail. As previously reported, he’ll remain in jail for at least the next two weeks. The Pompano Beach, Florida native (legal name Bill K. Kapri) will have the final hearing regarding revocation of his supervised release in Miami Division before Judge Jose E. Martinez on January 22 at 11:30 a.m. ET. If the hearing doesn’t go in his favor, Kodak Black could wind up serving the original sentence Donald Trump commuted in 2020.

50 Cent Swears Off Sex As He Plots Big Idea

50 Cent vowed to practice abstinence on Tuesday (January 9). The G-Unit boss called sex a distraction while teasing his grand plans for 2024.

“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”

50 Cent didn’t reveal his idea, but 2024 got off to a good start with his takeover of Millennium Studios in Louisiana. The Shreveport City Council approved his lease of the facility in December, giving him complete control of the facility on New Year’s Day.

“Thank you for welcoming myself and G-Unit Studios along with G-Unit Film and Television to Shreveport, Louisiana,” 50 Cent said. “I am excited to get started on building a state-of-the-art production facility. Founding my own studio is the next step in my plan to expand G-Unit Film and Television’s output of premium, diverse content across all media and to provide more opportunities for artists, crew members and more jobs within the community.”

50 Cent leased the facility for 30 years. He will only pay $2,400 a year in rent.

“This will relieve the city of about $180,000 per year in maintenance and upkeep expenses,” Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux said, per the Shreveport Times. “I’ve been asked why the low rent; the low rent is because of the savings to the city.”

Last month, 50 Cent received more good news when STARZ renewed his series Power Book IV: Force for a third season. Two more of his shows, Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, secured renewals for their fourth seasons. All three shows are spinoffs of the 50 Cent-produced Power, which ended its STARZ run in 2020.

Tupac Shakur Murder Suspect Keefe D Granted Bail—If He Can Pay Hefty Price

Judge Carli Kierny set Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D’s bail at $750,000 at a court hearing in Nevada on Tuesday (January 9). According to KTNV’s Bryan Horwath, Keefe D’s lawyers believed his family may be able to raise the money to secure his release from jail.

Attorneys were seeking bail of no more than $100,000. If Keefe D can post bail, he will be placed on house arrest while he awaits trial. Judge Kierny also required a source hearing, which means Keefe D must show the court where he obtained the funds for his bond.

Keefe D, whose real name is Duane Davis, was arrested in September 2023. He was charged with one count of murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. Prosecutors accuse him of being the shot caller behind Tupac’s 1996 murder.

Tupac was infamously shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. He died a few days later on September 13, 1996.

Prosecutors said Keefe D wasn’t the triggerman, but he confessed to his role in Tupac’s murder in various interviews and a tell-all memoir. Keefe D’s lawyers claimed his statements were for “entertainment purposes.”

Keefe D is the only surviving suspect in Tupac’s murder case. The ex-gang leader’s nephew Orlando Anderson, the suspected shooter, passed away two years after Tupac’s death. Two other suspects, Terry Brown and Deandrae Smith, died years later.

Last year, Keefe D pleaded not guilty to murder. He has remained in the Clark County Detention Center since his arrest. His trial is scheduled to begin on June 3.

The Tupac murder suspect’s bail hearing was originally supposed to be held on January 2. Judge Kierny postponed it to give Keefe D’s lawyers time to respond to a filing by the prosecution.

EXCLUSIVE: Young Buck Bidding War Beef Slows Down Catalog Auction

A potential bidder objected to the sale of Young Buck’s music catalog in his bankruptcy case. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Middleton Open Season Partners defended its winning bid against the objections of Structured Asset Sales in a filing on Monday (January 8).

Open Season’s lawyer Justin Campbell asked a Tennessee court to validate his client’s purchase of Young Buck’s catalog. Campbell said Structured Asset Sales failed to participate in the original auction for the catalog yet sent an objection to the bankruptcy trustee months later. The attorney noted Structured Assets Sales cited no issues with the sales process as it simply claimed it could pay more than the winning bid of $740,000.

“Structured Asset Sales is nothing more than a disgruntled potential bidder,” Campbell wrote. “Structured Asset Sales, through its principal [David] Pullman, received the Solicitation Email and made no efforts or attempts to contact the Broker or to participate in the bidding process for the Property.”

He continued, “Structured Asset Sales finally discussed the Property with the Broker in mid-December, almost six months after the Solicitation Email was sent and almost two weeks after the Sale Motion was filed. Structured Asset Sales, now realizing that it slept on its opportunity to participate in the bidding process, seeks to object to the Sale Motion and disrupt the private sale to Open Season. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as multiple other lower courts in the Sixth Circuit, have stated that frustrated bidders do not have standing to object to the sale of the property.”

A broker working for the trustee solicited offers for Young Buck’s catalog in June 2023. Final offers were due on July 14, 2023. The deadline was extended to July 19, 2023. Open Season won the bidding war as documentation of the sale commenced on July 20, 2023.

Structured Asset Sales allegedly did not contact the broker until December 2023. Open Season demanded a break-up fee if the court allowed Young Buck’s catalog to be auctioned off for a second time.

“Following Open Season’s successful high bid with the Broker, Open Season began a lengthy due diligence process to confirm that all musical compositions and sound recordings listed in the Catalog were properly included,” Campbell explained. “This included multiple interactions with the Trustee and Broker regarding the proper documentation needed for the release of royalties by ASCAP, Select-O-Hits, Inc., SoundExchange, Inc., and Universal Music Publishing, Inc. As part of this process, Open Season has incurred more than $20,000.00 worth of expenses directly related to this transaction, which are continuing to accrue. Open Season requests a break-up fee of $25,000.00 to be paid from the proceeds of the sale of the Property, in the event another auction is held and Open Season is not ultimately the successful bidder.”

He added, “While break-up fees are normally contemplated in situations where a stalking horse bidder is sought (unlike in the current situation), a break-up fee is necessary here due to the significant amount of time and expense incurred by Open Season to prepare and verify the documentation related to the Property.”

The price for Young Buck’s catalog was reduced to $730,000 following Open Season’s due diligence on the purchase. Open Season urged the court to approve the sale and deny Structured Assets Sales’ objection.

Sonny Digital has offered Ari Lennox some support in the form of advice following her recent frustration with Rod Wave’s fans on his tour. On Monday (January 8), the producer shared his thoughts on Lennox’s situation via Twitter (X), suggesting Lennox should do her own solo tour at any capacity.

“I honestly just think she should do her own tour for her fans,” he wrote. “I’m sure the bulk majority of ppl were there to see the headline Rod Wave. I think even more people was anticipating just seeing Rod Wave fall from the building after it started to viral. Ari is popping enough to do her own tour I think esp the way that yall online got her back it shows she has support. The venues might not be arena’s but it doesn’t have to be for her to be a successful touring artist. Just hit your target market, that’s the key! ….all of this is just my opinion btw.”

In a separate reply, Sonny Digital expressed his belief that she isn’t the only artist facing an issue like this—despite claims she’s been singled out.

“I mean if you were doing shows you would know that that’s just something that can come with performing in front of a crowd,” he added. “It’s not exclusively only just happening to her.”

Prior to her recent Instagram Live rant, Lennox had dealt with a heckler in real-time during a Rod Wave concert. Last November, she was nearly struck by a bottle a fan threw onstage while she was performing, but she’d been expecting it.

“That side of the stage, like, I felt the energy,” she said of the viral incident. “I wasn’t surprised that it happened. I felt it. First of all, it was all darkness. That was literally the energy coming from the left side.”

Jonathan Majors has become one of the most-talked-about celebrities in the first two weeks of 2024. The Creed III actor’s interview with Good Morning America inspired countless online jokes.

A New York jury convicted Jonathan Majors of reckless assault and harassment. The criminal case stems from a March 2023 domestic dispute with his ex-partner Grace Jabbari. His sentencing is set for February 6, 2024.

While speaking with ABC News journalist Linsey Davis for the televised sitdown, Jonathan Majors compared his girlfriend, Meagan Good, to late Civil Rights Movement icon Coretta Scott King.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day takes place on the third Monday of January every year in the United States. The federal holiday celebrates the January 15 birthday of the assassinated Baptist minister and political activist.

Majors Explains His Constant Comparisons To Coretta Scott King & Michelle Obama

The 34-year-old California native brought up Coretta Scott King during his time dating Grace Jabbari. Audio recordings of Majors included him lecturing Jabbari to be more like Coretta Scott King and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

“It was me trying to give an analogy of what it is I’m aspiring to be,” Majors explained to Linsey Davis. “These great men, Martin and President Obama. And trying to give a reference point for that. Kid Cudi revealed the full tracklist for his Insano album on Monday (January 8). The forthcoming body of work includes contributions from several rap stars.

Insano hosts a song titled “X & Cud” with vocals by the late XXXTENTACION, who was fatally shot on June 18, 2018. Kid Cudi also enlisted Young Thug for Insano. The currently incarcerated Atlanta native, who’s on trial for various RICIO and firearm charges in Georgia, appears on “Rager Boyz.”

Kid Cudi’s Insano also features DJ Drama, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Pharrell Williams and Lil Wayne. The 21-track studio LP arrives on Friday (December 12) via Republic Records.

The project serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Entergalactic, which accompanied the Netflix animated music television special of the same name.

Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me” Returns To No. 1 On Hot 100 Chart

Jack Harlow once again has the most popular song in America. “Lovin On Me” leaped back to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Kentucky rapper’s single rose from No. 9 to No. 1 on the latest weekly rankings. Jack Harlow first claimed the Hot 100’s pole position with “Lovin On Me” on the December 2-dated chart in 2023.

Holiday tunes, such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey, dominated the chart for most of December.

“Lovin On Me” became Jack Harlow’s third Hot 100 chart-topper of his career. Previously, the Generation Now artist made it to No. 1 thanks to “Industry Baby” with Lil Nas X (2021) and “First Class” (2022).

In addition to Harlow, another rap star appears in the Top 10 on this week’s Hot 100. Doja Cat has two entries in the region with “Paint the Town Red” at No. 4 and “Agora Hills” at No. 10.

Jack Harlow also reigns atop another Billboard chart. “Lovin On Me” sits at No. 1 on the Global 200 as well. That chart ranks the overall top songs from over 200 territories worldwide.

As he begins 2024 with a No. 1 hit, Harlow still has a lot to celebrate from 2023. He received the honors of SESAC’s Songwriter Of The Year and Song Of The Year for “First Class.”

This week has been consumed by Katt Williams’s appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. In particular, his comments about fellow comedian Kevin Hart became headline news around the world.

It seems Katt Williams is not done trolling Kevin Hart. The Friday After Next star may have tapped Hart’s ex-wife to join him on tour. Stand-up comic Torrei Hart made the announcement on Monday (January 8).

21 Savage Announces Release Date For “American Dream” Album

21 Savage season has begun. The London-born, Atlanta-raised rapper garnered a lot of online attention by releasing a trailer for the upcoming film, American Dream: The 21 Savage Story. Now, 21 Savage has announced his next music project, American Dream: The Album, will arrive on Friday (January 12).

The project marks Savage’s first solo LP since 2018’s i am > i was. He then teamed up with Metro Boomin for Savage Mode II in 2020 and Drake for Her Loss in 2022.

As for the movie, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori and Fam Udeorji directed the American Dream: The 21 Savage Story trailer. The film is produced by Tara Razavi and Udeorji.

Emmy Award winner Donald Glover plays Savage in American Dream, while Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin portrays a younger version of the Epic recording artist.

21 Savage appeared as a playable character in 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The Slaughter Gang leader also let loose the “Call Me Revenge” single in October 2023 to help promote the video game.

Stefflon Don has made it clear she was firing at Jada Kingdom over her relationship with Burna Boy in her new diss track “Dat A Dat.”  

The “Hurtin’ Me” hitmaker previewed a new song earlier this week, which many believed included a shot at dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom. In the track, Stefflon Don threatens to “box” somebody for sleeping with her man.

Fans began speculating that Stefflon Don targeted Jada Kingdom because the British rapper’s ex, Burna Boy, was rumored to have cheated on Steff with Kingdom. 

Jada Kingdom addressed Stefflon Don directly, tagging her on Instagram and asking her to confirm the shade.  

“Don’t blow this thing out of proportion,” Kingdom later said during an IG Live rant. “It’s weird, because it’s behind a man… this n#### is for everybody.”  

Taking a less direct approach, Stefflon Don responded the following day. She reposted a snippet of the diss alongside a caption advising if the cap fits, wear it.  

Hours later, Jada Kingdom teased her own diss track aiming at a “little girl,” fighting over a man.  

“Suh yuh confirm you tryna beef over a man OK this is weak,” she wrote in the caption. “I been left the dude. You’re pressed.”

Stefflon Don And Jada Kingdom Exchange Jabs

Stefflon Don released the track on Monday evening (January 8), which was updated to shoot directly at Kingdom using one of her stage names. The lyrics now state that Steff had split with her man when “Twinki” slept with him. She also refers to Kingdom as a “cokehead.” 

On Tuesday morning, Jada Kingdom shared her song, which uses the beat from Burna Boy’s “Talibans II” and features the Afrobeats superstar saying he bought Kingdom a Birkin bag.  She titled the track “London Bed” and used an unflattering image of Stefflon Don on the cover art.

Boosie Badazz is pining for his kids after they returned home following the holidays, leaving him feeling like a “failure.” 

The father of 8 put family first during the festive season, reuniting with his mom following a rift and splashing out on lavish gifts for his family members. However, now that his children have all gone back to their respective homes, Boosie is feeling their absence.  

On Monday (January 8), a visibly bored Boosie took to Instagram Live to watch television with his followers. 

“My kids went home today bro, I’m kind of sad,” Boosie Badazz shared. “I don’t have my kids but on holidays and summers when my kids go back I be kind of sad.” 

Boosie explained that he built his house for his large family, and living without his children makes him feel defeated. 

“S### be having me sad, feeling I’m a failure that my kids don’t live with me,” he added. “I built this home so my kids will live with me man. S### stress me out sometimes.”  

Boosie Badazz recently came under fire for his parenting practices after sharing his thoughts on his daughter’s new boyfriend. “You can cheat on her but don’t beat on her,” Boosie warned, prompting social media users to accuse him of being a bad father. 

The Baton Rouge rapper also faced backlash for his complaints concerning The Color Purple movie. He revealed he took his daughters to see the film but walked out of the cinema because the film featured a lesbian relationship. He was widely condemned over his views but claimed the backlash was tantamount to “BULLYING.”

Vivica A. Fox says she hasn’t experienced the same pay gap disparity Taraji P. Henson spoke about when she called out Hollywood for supposedly underpaying African-American women. 

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, getting paid a fraction of the cost,” Henson said during her tearful appearance on Gayle King’s SiriusXM in December. “I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired.”

While a number of Tinseltown stars co-signed her complaints, including Halle Berry and Kerry Washington, Vivica A. Fox can’t relate. She shared her thoughts with a TMZ reporter on Monday (January 8).  

“You know darling, to each his own,” Fox began. “I’m very happy, very blessed and to each his own. I didn’t have that experience but to get your piece out is important. I totally understand that.” 

While Fox praised the women for supporting each other, she doubled down on her take. “I love my girls for looking out for each other, but I’m good,” she added.” 

Taraji P. Henson also recently addressed some of the issues she and her castmates experienced while filming of The Color Purple remake.  

The movie’s co-producer, Oprah Winfrey, responded to claims “that I was not supporting Taraji.”  

She denied an issue between them during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier. 

“Taraji will tell you herself that I’ve been the greatest champion of this film,” she added. “Championing not only the behind-the-scenes production but also everything that everybody needed.” 

NBA YoungBoy Admits He’s Not Keen On Fatherhood Despite Multiple Children

NBA YoungBoy is catching heat online after confessing he’s not big on fatherhood despite being a father to eleven children. 

The Motown Records artist shared his perspective on being a parent during his candid interview with Bootleg Kev.  

“I’m not really big on it, to be honest,” YoungBoy admitted while one of his children sat on his lap. However, when the host challenged him, suggesting, “You’re a family man, I’m here with you. I see it,” YB said he was playing up to the cameras.  

“I’m only in here because you here,” he shared. “This is a crazy topic because I’m not the type to sugar coat nothing, but I’m four walls everyday.” 

While NBA YoungBoy said he and his children “bond a lot,” he spends most of his time “stuck inside one room,” watching television. “I don’t really travel this house like that,” YB added.   

NBA YoungBoy reportedly has 11 children with eight different women. He had his first child at just 16 and shares two kids with his current wife, Jazlyn Mychelle Hayes. 

Many online criticized the rapper for his parenting perspective, calling him out for not being more present.  

“This n#### NBA Youngboy said in an interview that “he’s not big on fatherhood” Mind you this is a man with 11 kids,” wrote an X user. “How you not big on fatherhood?!??” 

“They asked NBA Youngboy about fatherhood and he said he ain’t ain’t really big on it like they asked him about video games or something,” another person added.  

Elsewhere during the interview, YoungBoy revealed that he’s smoked cigarettes since the age of seven. He picked up the habit from his father, who YB says stayed with him after he went AWOL from the army during a leave of absence.    

“I used to be watching that n#### smoking cigarettes,” he explained. “Every time he throw that b#### I’d go grab it.” 

Jay-Z Says Headlining Super Bowl Halftime Show “Would Be Selfish”

Jay-Z is racking up awards for his role in directing the Super Bowl halftime show for other performers, but could we ever see Hov take the coveted slot himself? 

The Hip-Hop mogul has helped produce the iconic shows since Roc Nation partnered with the National Football League in 2019. Over the weekend, Jay-Z scored his second Emmy for his work on Rihanna’s halftime show after winning the same award last year.  

However, the Roc Nation founder has never given himself a starring role in the sought-after slot, although he’s not opposed to it.   

He shed light on the topic during a red-carpet interview at The Book of Clarence movie premiere on Friday (January 5).  

“I don’t know,” Jay-Z told Entertainment Tonight when asked if he would headline the Super Bowl halftime show. “I thought it would be selfish to pick myself too early, so maybe one year.” 

Before his NFL partnership Jay-Z previously rejected the Super Bowl show headlining spot. The league approached him to perform but asked him to bring Rihanna and Kanye West to perform their hit collab, “Run This Town.” 

“Of course I would have,” Jay-Z explained to The New York Times in 2021. “But I said, ‘No, you get me.’ That is not how you go about it, telling someone that they’re going to do the halftime show contingent on who they bring. I said forget it. It was a principle thing.” 

Jay-Z has drafted Usher to perform during the Big Game next month at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.  

“He’s one of the greatest performers that we’ve seen in our time,” Jay-Z declared. “I think he’ll take his rightful place.” 

Meek Mill Accused Of Abusive Outbursts Toward Nicki Minaj By Alleged Former Associate

Meek Mill is facing renewed allegations that he was abusive on multiple occasions to his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj. According to a man named Dean, Meek’s alleged former associate, Meek Mill and Minaj would frequently engage in violent and explosive arguments.

He made the claim in a series of Instagram Live sessions over the weekend in which he detailed several tumultuous incidents between the former couple. Dean claims he witnessed Meek spit on Minaj with his own eyes at one point. He also detailed an incident where Meek allegedly locked Minaj out of the residence they were staying in following an argument.

“That n###a put her out in the woods,” he said. “We were out in Jersey somewhere in the woods. That n###a put her out the house, it’s dark and s##t. She cried right here (taps shoulder) am I lying Nicki?”
